Pours a black colour with little red highlights and a big creamy beige cap that stays a while creating chunky lacing. The hop comes out perfuming the nose like soapy dishwashing water. Hints of roasted malt appears. Smooth medium-bodied mouthfeel. Burnt malt taste with the hop being right up there, and overpowering the rest (chocolate, molasses). No burning for a high alcohol content. Too bad for the elevated hop content.
