2020 Description Inspired by light crisp ales, our refreshing Session ale has enough character to stand on its own and rival other light and full strength beers. Truly a great pint to enjoy year round. 2012 Description This beer is the less aggressive of Ashton selections at 3.8% ABV. Whether you are looking for something light on a hot summer day, or taking your first step into the microbrew world and are not too adventuresome, this is the beer for you. Purchased a growler from the brewpub. Poured with tons of carbonation, minimal head which quickly dissipated. Mild citrus notes for flavour, a bit of hoppiness and malty as well. Aromas of grains and malted barley. No head left whatsoever at about the halfway point. Fizzy mouthfeel and some carbonated sweetness. Doesn't seem like a lighter than light beer to me. Pretty good.

Enjoyed at Quinn's Ale house with PaleAleRider. Pours a clean golden colour with a great 2mm coating on top of the brew (almost creamy), staying the whole time. Quite nice ! Fresh farm hay scent that is quite mild. The mouthfeel is a little creamy, medium-bodied. Nicely balanced between cereal grain and fresh farm cream. Wow ! This is a light beer ?? Very well-brewed then. Seems like a regular session ale to me.
