Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up dark roasted malts, a sliver of caramel malts and then faint molasses. The taste delivers a pleasing blend of dark roasted malts, thin caramel malts, dash of chocolate and then hints of lager yeastiness. Nice.
