A fine golden ale from a very reliable brewery: punchy hoppy flavour balanced with smoooth maltiness, and a gentle malty finish. An excellent summer ale, and extremly drinkable.

On draught and on form, one of the best beers around. Golden straw coloured, with nice white head, good lacing. Fruity aroma. Hoppy and fruity with malty finish. Smooth and very drinkable. Sampled (on a regular basis) at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough, where it is a permanent feature, and served better than anywhere else I've tried it, including its home town.

A bit too heavily hopped for my taste, a bit watery to boot, but fresh & thirst quenching. Still, probably not something I'd go back to.
