Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. Still mead. Golden colour. Aroma of honey, spices and fusel alcohols. Sweet flavour of honey, hints of mild spices / herbs. Nice to drink.

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is sweet alcohol, honey and nectar along with some mild nuttyness. Flavour is honey, sugar, nectar and mild notes of nuttynes. Quite dry palate.

Golden colour with a no foam. Sweet, peppery and a bit alcoholic aroma of honey, smoke, flowers, white sugar and cookies. Full, sweet flavour of honey, apricots, yellow plums and flowers. Amazingly well-hidden alcohol. Honey and orange-blossom and herbs in the long aftertaste. A really nice surprise, since I’m not a huge fan of sweet honey.
