Bottle share courtesy of sebletitje. This makes my 50th mead rating! The bottle pours coppery bronze and leaving behind classic thick legs on the inside of the glass. The aroma is musty earthy sweet honey and a bit of a paper sensation at the end of the draw. The taste is rich yummy smooth sweet honey with a light caramelized sugar sort of sensation. Behind those notes is a faint sweet earthiness adding to the depth of the experience. Terrific mead.

Sampled bottle, RBNAG 2007 in Grimstad. Deep/warm golden colour. No carbonation. Aroma of honey and raw alcohol. Very sweet flavour of honey and oak. You really have to love honey to go for this stuff.
