aroma is of fruits and heavy malt, with a little yeasty zing for good measure, and alcohol. a touch too much alcohol for only 8%, but manages to be light and fruity and heavy at the same time. That goes for the flavor too. I'd have rated the flavor higher if it wasn't quite so sweet and the alcohol was not as evident. It is a pretty smooth beer, though, and of juuuuuuust high enough quality and complexity for me to be curious about Angel City's other beers. 8 months later...not so curious. oh well.
