A variation of our classic Solstice ales. Additions of cardamom, star anise, and vanilla create a mélange of sweetness and complexity; while orange peel, ginger, black pepper add a zesty freshness and a touch of spicy heat.

Pours clear copper with a thick parchment head. Aroma starts with tangy, tempting spice - cinnamon, clove, hints of orange and tea - and adds a little malt and a bit of resiny hops as the nose closes in. Flavor offers spice, tea, woody hops, hints of raw malt and citrus. Texture presents decent body and fair fizz. Chai up the solstice - or any other day of the year.
