The beer pours a slightly hazed gold colour with a weak bubbly head which doesn’t last. The aroma is tart citrus, light yeast, bready malt, and vinegar. The mouthfeel was light to medium bodied with average carbonation. The flavour tart citrus, some contrasting sweet fruit notes, and a grainy finish. -

Tall can from LCBO. Pours an average size frothy white head and has thick soapy lacing and a slightly hazy golden yellowish appearance. Excessive carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, citric acid, herbal and grassy hops, some mild wheat and yeasty hints. Flavours are mostly citrus, some mild tropical fruit notes, lemony lime mixture, from the zest, not pure. Definitely some sourness on the palate. A little bit of a tarty mouthfeel as well. Pretty good.

After having the Staring Down the Sun Clementine Sour, let's do this one in the same style. Pours a clean, just barely hazy, light golden-yellow colour with a frothy white cap, decent retention and foamy, creamy lacing. Fairly hoppy nose with grassiness, over the sour base. The taste makes you pucker with the sourness, but the grassy-leafy hops are balancing this, with the citrus notes. Not as sour as expected with the skull on the label, but genuinely dry-hopped.
