Belgian Golden Ale aged in Pinot Noir Barrels. Goedenavond is our take on Belgian Golden Ale, itself the Belgian brewers’ answer to golden pilsner lager from Bohemia. This beer was aged in Flat Rock Pinot Noir barrels for six months, and is one of two brews we've aged in this way. German malts, Belgian yeast and Styrian Goldings hops provide the base; aromas of oak and cherries with a touch of yeast esters lead to deep barrel flavours and a pleasant tannic roundness with a clean, dry finish. Goedenavond is Belgian for "Good Evening".
