500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Typical German pilsener aroma, German hops with herbal, grassy and floral notes. Some sweetish malty notes too. Fairly crisp and fresh flavour, distinct German hops, but with more malty sweetness than you’ll find in most German pilseners. Clearly better than industrial pilseners, but probably overpriced - this is all about greed, remember ...

Pours clear topaz with a good ivory head. Aroma features crisp fresh malt, resiny hops, and a touch of tangy and sweet apple. Flavor generates crisp malt, piney and somewhat bitter hops - more hops than I normally get in a Pils - and tangy sweet apple. Texture provides decent body and peppy fizz. Greed is the word.
