    Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8

750 ml capped bottle. Poured in the original Alvinne stemmed tulip glass an unfiltered and opaque reddish-copper-amber coloured A T with a two fingers beige and soapy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. Some lacing. Many floating sediments in a powder form. The aroma is yeasty, sweety caramel malts, herbs, candy, notes of spices and honey. The flavour is sweety caramel malts, a pronounced herbal side, candy, tropical fruits, spicy and honey notes. The mouthfeel is crispy, quite thick, fulled and sweety. The texture is oily. This fulled bodied Abbey Tripel has a long malty and alcoholic finish with the expected and welcome nice warming effect. If perhaps a step too caramely for a tripel, this A T from a small Frandrian brewery is the try worth.
