Bottled (from bierkompass.de). Pitch black colour, mediumsized brown creamy head that leaves nice lace. Beautiful imperial stouty aroma with liquorice and salted liquorice boosted a lot. Also a sting of sweet alcohol and rumlike notes. Flavour is pleasant liquorice, vanilla, salted liquorice, some sweet wooden and honeyish notes as well as rather sweet rumlike notes. Mild roasted notes in the finish. Seriously a world class Oak Aged brew.
