Beer pours medium gold body, clear with tons of bubbles clinging to the sides of the my Michelob Celebrate glass. Head was 1" thick, dirty white but melted really quickly to a scummy existence. Aroma is yeasty, slightly dirty metal but mostly plain. Flavor has some mild malt sweetness but nothing else. Easy to drink the 500ml bottle. The sweetness seems to be spot on for a pale lager. Mouthfeel does have some consistency to it. Nice lager.

Light gold color. Medium to large head. Aroma is bready and yeasty. A lighter bodied lager. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Hops are mild and slightly spicy. A fairly typical euro-lager, it is extremely well balanced though. Well made, light and refreshing. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Of all the brews from Allgäuer Brauhaus, this lowly lager is by far my favorite. A nice balance of hops and malt with a very enjoyable taste. Sorta like a good helles, but harder. Color is straw, with a good retentive head. Not a world beater, swill it is not. Many worse biers by bigger names worldwide.
