This is a very special barrel-aged beer that is near and dear to AleSmith and the majority of our members due to its namesake. Named after our very own Will Izor, Kali Sippn (Izor's Instagram handle) is slated for public release but a pre-sale is being conducted exclusively to members ahead of the official release. Kali Sippn is an imperial stout loaded with copious amounts of Madagascar vanilla beans and Vietnamese coffee aged in bourbon barrels.

    Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9

32oz crowler pours with a deep dark ten year old used motor oil body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up.... oh man, loads of inviting chocolate, dark chocolate, chocolate fudge and then lesser amounts of vanilla, nutty coffee and then bourbon and booze toward the end of the draw. The taste echoes the aromatic goodness with rich slick deep chocolate to dark chocolate yum! Toward midway a fair load of vanilla bean and slightly oily rich coffee nudge their way to the flavor surface. This is well integrated and seemingly hiding a bit of sweetened dark roasted malts and sweet molasses. Into the finish soft supple notes of bourbon are noticed with a nice mild warming booziness in tow. This is a diabolically good sipper.
