This traditional German style Imperial Stout has coffee and wood notes with just a bite of smoke. It was aged in second-use American oak bourbon barrels and the malt was house-smoked in Alder wood. Drink with caution though or Dark just might reveal his ghost self in your old haunts.

Pours rich coffee with a thick and frothy dirty tan head. Aroma fills the nose with roast malt, coffee, semi-sweet chocolate, smoky, subtle molasses and woody hop tones. Flavor presents roast malt, smoky, quality coffee, chocolate, molasses and woody hops. Texture features fair body, on the thin side for a stout, and good fizz. Wunderbar!
