The Imp is a ruthless, barrel-aged trickster. Black down to its very heart, this beer has dark intentions, but sweet and warming flavors. Chocolate and raisiny malt is complimented by apple brandy fruit and a dry finish belying its initial richness. It’s aroma is almost all of that delicious Copper & Kings nectar that resided in the barrel before it, but it’s flavor is round, complex and warming. It’s a smooth-talker and sure to go straight to your head, the rascal.

Taps opaque coffee with a fair tan head. Aroma presents roast malt, caramel and chocolate notes. Flavor echoes the aroma nicely while tossing in a little cinnamon and cloves. Mouthfeel features decent body and fair fizz. Blacken your heart!
