Brageskål tyder “skål for den gjæveste, etterfulgt av eit løfte om storverk” og noko som me tykte var eit høveleg namn på jubileumsølet vårt då med skulle feire 15 år som bryggeri. Men bryggjaren valte å gøyme eit fat med dette ølet som har no fått over eit år utvikla seg smaksmessig i ei tønne tidlegare brukt til rugwhiskey. Dette er eit stort øl i stilen Scotch Ale, som har no fått eit flott eik- og whiskeypreg. 250 flasker (75 cl)

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Kvadrat. ABV is 14%. One of the most expensive beers I've bought, shared with my family, to celebrate the birth of my youngest grandchild, Brage. Hazy brown colour, small head. Aroma and flavour of malts, oak, rye whiskey, dark dried fruits and raw alcohol. Hints of molasses and fusel. Fairly good, but hardly worth the high price.
