Fleur-de-lis Restoration Ale is made with English Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. We liberally hopped and dry hopped our Ale with American Cascade and Centennial hops and fermented it with California Ale yeast. The result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma. For every six pack sold Abita Beer will donate $1 to the Louisiana Disaster Recovery Foundation. Restoration Pale Ale is made with Pale, Lager, Crystal and Cara Pils malted barley. It is liberally hopped and dry hopped with American Cascade and fermented with California Ale yeast. The end result is a brilliant gold ale with a rich body, mild bitterness and a snappy fresh citrus hop flavor and aroma. This beer can be paired with many different dishes according to your taste. The citrus flavor and aroma make it an excellent choice with most fish, especially ones that are prepared to match the flavor of the beer. American, Muenster, Havarti and Monterey Jack cheeses pair well with Restoration.

The beer is a clear gold color, just like a golden ale should be. Aroma is grass, light spicy and herbal hops, and yeast. Mouthfeel is average. Flavor is typical of the style with is starting out grainy and finishing bitter. I would have expected a sweeter flavor considering they are using carapils malt.

Lifeless and flavorless pale ale. Decent dark golden body with a dull aroma. You could tell hops are in there, just not in any prominent fashion, even the malt body was lackluster.

Poured a golden color with a very thin head. Has a light smell of malts. With a sweet somewhat citrus taste and a very light hops aftertaste. Would be a good beer with some bbq.

Slightly golden with a slight head and slight hoppiness... perhaps even a slight maltiness in the finish. Point is that it was "slightly" a lot of things and didn't committ to anything in particular. Not a bad beer, but not a great - or even good - beer. It did wash down the BBQ pretty well.

Bottled@The 1st Vaasa CS/ES beer session (thanks ER!). Yellowish golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is strong fruity and floral hops along with mild caramel malts as well. Flavour is fruity, grassy, floral and slightly bready malts. Pleasant, but nothing extraordinary.

Pours a nice clear amber with a nice, rather fine eggshell colored head. Crisp aroma is malty and just a little bit fruity. Flavor is strongly yeasty and somewhat woody, not quite hoppy, with some malt tones and hints of lemon. Texture is quite tingly, lively and sassy, fizzing all the way down.

Not a bad offering from Abita, as i am not a big supporter of their products. Aroma of floral hops and caramel malts. A hazy golden body with a cap that faded pretty quick, but leaves pretty good lace. Flavor of caramel at first, then it goes to a bready, grassy taste, with the hops kinda hidden in the background. Overall it one of the better beers that i have tried from them.

I am a fan of Abita but this Pale Ale is subpar it does not have a hoppy taste or a pale ale aroma. Plus it almost tasted a bit flat. I will continue to drink Abita just not this one.

Poured into pint glass, clear golden color, modest white head and no lacing. Nose is primarily floral with a malty sweetness. Hoppy tang leads the flavor, well-balanced by the malt. Nice feel in the mouth, smooth and a little oily, finishes with a mild tangy and peppery aftertaste. Typical of the brewery, a solid brew that's just a little off-center, which is what I like about Abita!
