50cl can from Meny Bjølsen. Pours pale golden with a small, white head. Mild grainy aroma with fruity notes, hints of cooked vegetables, grass and herbal hops. Moderate sweet, mild in flavour, but nothing unpleasant and a fairly nice bitterness. Quite drinkable, but fairly standard Norwegian industrial pilsner.

The Norwegian valley Hallingdal has from ancient times been famous for its strong homebrew and subsequent knife-fights. Aass Bryggeri's Halling beer is an insult to the proud people of Hallingdal. It's a lousy pils with little or no character besides being far too sweet. (Sampled 0,5 liter can.)
