I bought this one because I kinda like the non-light version and I guess I kinda like this one too. It's an OK beer for what it is... a light lager. Pours pee yellow but not as dark as it's father, Shiner blonde. Decent mouthfeel for a light beer. Taste is a little corny, and there's a twang on the finish. Overall, not bad for the price.

It pours a light golden with no head and no lacing. An aroma of grainy malts, lemon, sweetness, some funk and not much else. The mouthfeel is smooth and rich. Flavors of wheat malts, light hops, lemon, yeasty, and mild spices. Average overall, but I am enjoying it some..

oysters? on a turkey?? .. . Pours a light gold, foam is grand .. . light grain and dried grass, with a light sweetness, maybe a touch of corn .. . gout sucks apparently .. . this was quite nice actually, but sampling a beer like this at the end of a tasting seems to have been the light tongue refresher i needed- hence my enjoyment i fancy .. . You think I'm one of those greaseballs who doesn't know the difference between a bow-tie and a cumberband.

A new product from shiner, I bought a sixer a few nights ago, kinda skeptical -you know a light blonde and it's from shiner, therefore I wasn't expecting much and that what I got. Aroma and flavor of musty malts and grass, a very pale beer with almost no carbonation or head. It's being marketed for the low calorie crowd (99 calories) and it just isn't very good, even for a low cal beer. It dosent have much in common with the regular blonde which is at least drinkable.
