The 1998 version was a bit better than the first. More malt character in the aroma and flavour. Notes of caramel and floral hops. Taste was slightly sweet as the previous year, yet bolder.

Bottled@Akkurat, Stockholm. 1998 vintage. Deep ruby red colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is vanilla, caramel malts, some hops and wood. Flavour is plum, sraisins, alcohol with some vanillaish notes in the background. Flavour is much more plum, alcohol and wooden than the 97 vintage.
