503 | Asahi Super Dry | Japan | Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 Purchased at Liquor Control Board of Ontario store. This is one of the dregs of the beer world. It pours a clear light gold colour with an oversized white cap that quicky disappears. Aroma is skunky vegetables, acid, and grass. Flavour is malt-forward with plenty of skunky and off-flavours. |

504 | Berthold Keller Premium Lager | Belgium | Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 I can say, without hesitation, that this beer was pure shit! Not sure what I was expecting from a Belgian lager. The beer pours a very pale yellow-gold with a huge white cap that disappears faster than a cockroach in the light. Lots of sour grains in the aroma with a weak hoppish note. Not a lot of good flavours in this, lots of acidic and metallic notes that make this a drain pour. |

505 | Hockley Valley Classic Lager | Canada | Pale Lager | 1.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Classic? Classic what? I’ll keep this review brief because the less said, the better. The beer is yellow, very clear, and a snow white head. The aroma is phenolic in nature with corn and spice in the mix. The flavour is bland, with metallic and acidic overtones making it almost undrinkable. |

506 | Moosehead Boundary Ale | Canada | English Pale Ale | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 From the files of ‘what the hell we’re they thinking’ comes this beer that was better left in the mind of the person that concocted it. It pours a translucent rust colour with no head. Lots of caramel in the aroma, but no citrus. Flavour is more sweet than I would like, mainly because there is no bitter hop finish to balance it out. |

507 | Molson Kick | Canada | Fruit Beer | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Energy beer….yum! I know a lot of people who will tell you that this is the worst beer they’ve ever tasted. I’m not one of them…Old Milwaukee has this beat hands down, but this is still bad. Anything about Molson Canadian that is remotely redeeming, was lost with the addition of guarana. It killed the aroma and destroyed the taste. This is some bitter bitter shit! |

508 | Molson Canadian 67 Session IPA | Canada | IPA | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 This brewery needs to get their act together. Molson Canadian is a lager, Molson Canadian 67 is a light lager. So, how does one go about naming a session IPA after two well established lagers? I can’t figure it out either. It pours a weak clear copper colour with a thin white ring for a cap. The hoppish aroma is more earthy than fruity, and the dominant Molson malt nose, is noticeable absent. Flavour is what beer’s all about eh? And if anybody ever finds any flavour in this one….let me know, because I couldn’t discern any. |

509 | Woodhouse Hibiscus Raspberry Sour | Canada | Wild Ale | 1.7
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Had this at the brewery, and I didn't have the heart to tell them how bad it is because the owner couldn't stop raving about it. It's an overcarbonated mess. Cherry red in colour, head is fleeting, notes of tart raspberries and yeast weak at best. Very watery, and flavour is minimal, but puckering. |

511 | Schlitz Red Bull Malt Liquor | United States | Strong Lager | 1.6
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 I have had the Canadian version of this once or twice (Sleeman's used to contract brew Schlitz and Stroh's products) and it was awful both times. An ABV that qualifies as a 'Light' beer for a Belgian, is grossly alcoholic in this concoction |

515 | Yanjing Beer | China | Pale Lager | 1.6
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Like a lot of stuff from China, one has to wonder whether this beer is a Bud/Miller/Coors knockoff because it’s really bad. The beer is a very light gold in colour with little to no head. Lots of adjuncts in the aroma and the flavour make Yanjing a very bad beer. |

516 | Miller High Life | United States | Pale Lager | 1.6
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 There isn’t a whole lot to say about this beer, and what little there is, is not in favour of the beer. What does it look like? It looks like water with a hint of yellow food colouring. What does it smell like? It smells like barley, corn, and stomach acid. What does it taste like? Wretched is the word, it tastes wretched. |

518 | Labatt Crystal | Canada | Pale Lager | 1.5
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 This beer has been around since time began, but I don't know anybody who drinks it. There was a marketing push in the mid 80s while I was finishing University but aside from that, the only time I think of it is when I scan the list at the beer store and pass it by. Recently, I actually stopped and ordered. I'll never make that mistake again. Looks and smells like Labatt Blue, but has a strong gamey flavour that makes it difficult to swallow. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 I went to many a party when I lived in the US in the 90s where Natty Lite made an appearance. It was never a beer worth drinking, but sometimes the only options one had if you didn't bring your own was Natty Lite, Bud Lite, Miller Lite, or Coors Lite. |

525 | Moosehead | Canada | Pale Lager | 1.5
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 The ubiquitous Eastern Canadian beer that really is no better than other Canadian macros. A Moosehead Lager can be summarized as a clear golden lager with a white head, with plenty of grainy malt character in the both the nose and the flavour. As with any other macro lager, plenty of off-aromas and flavours. |
