A dark black appearance with a carbonated looking white head. The aroma contains a hint of alcohol, plums, chocolate, and coffee. A very complex flavor with some cherries, chocolate, dates, coffee, nutmeg, and cinammon. The finish is sweet and a little warming from the alcohol. A damn fine beer!

This poured an amber to dark brown appearance with a moderate sized head. The aroma is sour cherries, nutmeg, apples, and vinegar. The flavor is quite sour with some granny smith apples, cherries, lemons, and a healthy does of vinegar. Some caramel presence as well. It has a woody character to it. Overall an awesome beer!

Abita, oh Abita with my low expectations you have wow’d me! You had me at hell yeah! This poured a brown color with a beige head. The aroma is nutty with some caramel, cherries, and toffee. The flavor is a bit sweet with some caramel, toffee, cherries, oak. This is sweet and sour and better than many Belgian made Dubbles I’ve had. Holy crap I love being totally wrong about beer expectations!

A golden color with a small white head. Barnyard, lemon, vinegar, on the aroma. Flavor is very dry and full of funk and vinegar. Dusty comes to mind. OMFG these are the same guys making the fruity stuff. Tons of cheese and funk. Like a shipwrecked barleywine or a weird relative. Aquired taste but worth opening your mind.

Pitch black color with a tan head. The aroma contains espresso, chocolate, licorice, dark fruit, and burbon. Flavor is rather bitter with espresso, dark chocolate, burbon, licorice, some raisins. The burbon is definitely there but does not overwhelm. Overall excellent damn beer. And KP showed up.

This is simply the best of the style. Aroma is excellent. Apperance is a dark brown. Flavor is complex and malty with a hint of hops. I would recommend this beer to anyone who really enjoys good beer!

The best of this brewery by a long shot. Appearance is dark brown/red with a massive head. Aroma is amazing. Flavor is complex with cherries, vanilla, grapes, and plums. Alcohol is very well hidden. A top notch Belgian ale, and the best one Ive had not actually brewed in Europe.

An amazing stout. Hides the alcohol extremely well. Dark black appearance with a tan head. Chocolate, coffee, licorice, and dark fruit flavor. Full bodied and easy to drink for such a high ABV beer.

An excellent American interpretation of a Belgain ale. Flavor is cherries, raisins, and plums. Apperance is dark brown with a nice head and excellent lacing. Aroma is similar to a fine red wine. Now there's more than one reason to visit Cooperstown for all you baseball fans out there!

A murky orange pour. The aroma is one of the best ever. A whole bunch of fresh pine and hops in the nose. The flavor is a big kick of malt and hops but still finds balance. A grapefruit, lemon, and orange taste. The aftertaste is bitter . This one is highly complex and tasty.

A top notch IPA from a top notch brewery. Aroma is complex and floral. Appearance is a redish golden color not typical of IPA's. Flavor is citrus, hops, malts, and pine. Now if Tadcaster would get the clue and bottle all thier beers in brown bottles, world domination would be in order. Fantastic IPA!

This is an excellent Abbey Dubbel and may even my best yet. Aroma is chocolate and caramel. Appearance looks about like every other Dubbel Ive had, brownish/red. Flavor is chocolate, caramel, apples, oranges, complex for this style! The balance is perfect as the malt does not dominate. Palate is smooth with no evidence of the 7%. Overall its simple and to the point, no frills, but excellent all the same.

This is my favorite Belgian blonde ale to date. A nice citrusy aroma and a smooth creamy citrus flavor of pears, peaches, and oranges. Hides the alcohol very well. An excellent beer. Rerate - This is even better than I previously thought, a hidden gem, I dont usually like belgian stong ales of the blonde variety but this is amazing. I want to try this with a rich chocolate dessert. WOW!

Another winner from Cantillon! Bright red appearance. Sour cherries and granny smith apples dominate the flavor. A little more on the sweet side than the Framboise. The beer finish with a tart aftertaste. An excellent fruit lambic!

2001 vintage. This is much different from any fruit lambics I've had in the past. Orangish red appearance. Aroma is sour fruit. Flavor is sour apple and cherry. EXTREMELY SOUR but very good!

Wow! The aroma is outstanding. Very floral and full of pears, peaches, and oranges. The appearance is a yellowish orange. The flavor is somewhat sour with a spicy citrus fruit flavor. You can hardly taste the alcohol. This beer has a very delicate flavor but even a hophead like myself can appreciate the craftsmanship of this beer. Man is this great stuff!

An orangish color with little head. The aroma is musky with some dust and tart fruit. This is a very complex lambic. Flavor is sour with some lemons and a barnyard essence. There is some sharp citrus lurking in the background. A very complex and hard to appreciate lambic, but I certainly do like it myself. Excellent!

The aroma was apples, honey, and christmas spices. The flavor is very sweet with some honey, almonds, spices, apples, and caramel. This is like a dessert beverage that you could not drink very much of. Too bad they don’t send this one across the pond. Awesome!!!

Wow this was the winner at the Iron Hill Belgian Fest. A murky yellow appearance with a good deal of carbonation. The aroma is funky and dusty with some citrus mainly lemons. Flavors of grapefruit, vinegar, hay, and cheese. A tart aftertaste. Good stuff.

What a damn good beer! A murky brown appearance. The aroma is fan-freakin-tastic with some cherries, oak, apples, and some herbal hints. The flavor is fairly sour with cherries, woody hints, nuts, brandy, and a hint of alcohol. Why did they stop making this again. An excellent beer!

A brown appearance with virtualy no head. The aroma is filled with chocolate and whiskey. The flavor was somewhat sour and nutty with some chocoate, raisins, vanilla, and of course a lot of whiskey showing up. Pretty awesome, thanks JohnC for the chance to sample this rare beer.

Ahhh hell yeah beoches this was one awesome beer. A dark brown appearance. The flavor is quite sour and funky with a lot of tart cherries showing through. The finish is very sour with a hint of nutiness. Great freaking beer!

My god this kicked some serious ass. An amber appearance with a thick head. The aroma is malty and alcohol filled with a nice citrus and pine presence. The flavor is similar to an IPA with some oak notes, orange, sherry, and caramel. Too bad this is retired.
