Thuis poured a murky brown color with a beige head. The aroma contains some nutmeg, caramel,. toffee, and cherries. The flavor is excellent with some caramel, toffee, vanilla, and cherries. My only complaint, and it’s not much of one, is the body is a bit thin. Overall this is a nice beer.

Ummm yeah Im gonna go ahead and say this is a good beer. Some Initech coffee in the nose with some caramel and spices. The alcohol makes itself known kind of like Milton when he doesnt get his paycheck. But it also has some FLAIR to it with a big dose of caramel and toffee. Overall good beer, you should try it, that would be great.......

A dark brown apperance with a tan head. The aroma contains chocolate, raisins, bananas, licorice, and coffee. The flavor consists of chocolate, licorice, raisins, cloves, and coffee. An interesting twist on a dubbel certainly more on the stout side with a mix of hefe in there. The finish is a little bit boozy and sweet. The bitterness lingers. A very different and nice beer. One of my favorite Stone verticals!

My first Belgian and a nice experience with a cigar. A good caramel, chocolate, and dark fruit flavor. Not as sweet as you would expect with a nice bitter flavor. Good Belgian.

Wow! This quickly changed my impression of 5 Seasons! Hazy brown color with a thick head. Flavor was rich and malty with some Christmas spice, plums, raisins, and cherries. This was prefectly balanced. I'm glad I had the opportunity to sample this beer.

I really enjoyed this actually. A reddish brown appearance with a frothy head. Some figs, raisins, and chocolate in the aroma. The flavor was somewhat sour with some cherries, chocolate, and peanuts. Some alcohol shows up in the finish. Seems well balanced. Im a foo for dubbels I think.

A brownish red color. The flavor is quite yeasty with some grapes and plums present. I also taste a bit of cherries. The aftertaste is slightly sweet. Pretty good but not that great for the style.

Well another Rochefort. The 10 is close to perfect, the 8 was boring but ok, now onto the 6. Well this one is brown in apperance with a moderate head. The aroma is caramel and brown sugar. The flavor is a bit light but very well balanced and flavorful. Some dark fruit and caramel with a backbone of some apricots? Ive had more flavorful dubbels but not many as well crafted as this.

This one seem more in the mold of a brown ale than a dubbel to me. Brown appearance with a moderate head. Some grapes, caramel, and nutmeg in the flavor. Pretty good session beer if nothing else.

This was probably the best beer sampled at McKenzie’s. It had a reddish orange appearance with a fair amount of head. It was a little bit on the thin side but flavorful nonetheless. I tasted cherries, raisins, grapes, and some light citrus notes. Pretty good example of the style.

A reddish brown appearance with a moderate sized head and good lacing. The aroma is very chocolatey with some toffee, alcohol, and raisins. The flavor is quite sweet with milk chocolate and caramel. Some dark fruit is lurking about. It has a carbonated mouthfeel as well. Very good.

A dark brown appearance with a large head. This one was bent a little more sour than most dubbles Ive had. The main flavor going on here is chocolate followed by some raisins and nutmeg. There is some citrus detectable in the aftertaste. A good one!

A dark brown appearance. The alcohol really stood out in this one. Syrupy sweet with a strong molasses and grape flavor. The flavor was very similar to wine. A big ol wack of alcohol remains on the tounge. Warming and would be good in small amounts.

A dark brown appearance. The alcohol really stood out along with a strong whiskey flavor. Syrupy sweet with a strong molasses and grape flavor. This one seems to be overwhelmed by the whiskey flavor. I would stick with the regular quad personally.

An amber color with a citrus, caramel, and alcohol aroma present. The flavor was rather complex with some caramel, raisins, honey, and a hint of citrus. A rather sweet alcoholic finish. A nice attempt at a Quad.

A peach and caramel aroma. An amber appearance. The flavor is semi cloying with some molasses, caramel, raisins, and other dark fruit. A complex and sweet beer. Arnold seems like a generic name for a saint though?

Im oddly scared of this, suck it up Sally. A dark bronze color with almost no head. Smells oddly close to wine with some grapes, raisins, and cherries. Wow are you kidding it tastes like a wine. I poured it from the bottle I know its not. Flavor contains some grapes and a hint of spices. Alcohol is rather well hidden. Overall good beer?

A chocolate, raisin, caramel, and oak filled aroma. Appearance is a dark brown with a large head. The flavor is quite rich with some roasted nuts, grapes, raisins, cherry, oak, maple syrup, and caramel. A very complex sipper this one is. My only complaint with this beer is the over carbonation. It has a very spritzy mouthfeel. Regardless this beer rocks!

An underrated Belgain. Complex flavor of pears, peaches, oranges, plums and some alcohol. Rich palate. This is one bad ass Belgian! Try one right away, you won't be sorry.

I had this with Westy 12. Wow! This is one excellent belgian ale. Dark and complex flavor mainly dark fruit with a slight smokey feel. It hides the high ABV well. Great for sipping. A little costy but hey life is short, so treat yourself every once in a while.

A very complex and flavorful belgian. Good warming effect with the alcohol. This one is pricey and hard to find, but you must try it at least once in your life.
