201 | Avery Ellie's Brown | United States | Brown Ale | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 A dark brown appearance with a diminishing tan head. A chocolate, caramel, and milky aroma. The flavor is rather sweet with a big nutty presence. A rich milk chocolate and caramel taste. The aftertaste leaves a slight bitterness on the tounge. This is a damn fine brown. |

202 | Avery Hog Heaven | United States | American Barleywine | 4.3
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 8 The aroma is very very nice. Some oak, citrus, cherries, grapes, vanilla. The appearance is a reddish brown with almost no head. Now to the flavor. A mix of bitter, sour, and sweet all perfectly blended together. Some caramel, raspberries, citrus fruit are primarly what I am tasting. The finish is hoppy with a taste of alcohol. This one is not as sweet and cloying as other barleywines Ive tasted. This biased may come from my hophead nature of course. But overall I must say I really enjoyed this one. |

205 | Avery Karma Ale | United States | Belgian Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 This poured an orange color with a moderate white head. The aroma contains some spices and herbal notes. Can I be more generic? This might take a while.....some apricots and cloves are also present. The flavor isn’t bursting with flavor but it does contain more citrus notes namely oranges, also some malty notes and good dose of spices. Mr Generic strikes again. Overall this is a nice session beer but far from a complex Belgian |

206 | Avery Mephistopheles Stout | United States | Imperial Stout | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 Hell yeah thanks for bringing this one to share LilKem. The aroma is fantastic with some chocolate, raisins, dates, and licorice. The flavor is really sweet and velvety with a strong dark fruit presence. I taste raisins, chocolate, licorice, marshmellows, and molasses. Give this one a few years to mellow out and it will be perfect. But its still one of the better stouts Ive had however its nothing you would want to sip on all night. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 Pitch black appearance with a large beige head. A roasted coffee and licorice aroma. A rather full body with some bitter chocolate, coffee, and raisins appearing in the flavor. Wow this one is quite bitter. Steer a guinness lover in this direction there will be no looking back |

209 | Avery Redpoint Ale | United States | Amber Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 The aroma consists of grapefruit and caramel. The appearance is an amber color with a soapy looking white head. The flavor is rather hoppy for an amber ale with more grapefruit and lemons on the bitter side, caramel and candi sugar on the malty side. I sound like a damn Shredded Wheat commerical. A damn fine amber ale and may be one of my favorites. |

211 | Avery The Beast Grand Cru | United States | Belgian Strong Ale | 4.3
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 Shared a bottle with some of the San Diego crew at O’Briens. Funny I couldnt get ScottVacula to have any, damn you! Well I had most of it, ouch! Well it was a dark red color with a decent head and lacing. The flavor did not show the alcohol as much as I had imagined. The were some vanilla, cherries, whiskey, and alcohol in there. A nice one indeed. |

212 | Avery The Czar Imperial Stout | United States | Imperial Stout | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 A black appearance with a tan head. The aroma is mainly chocolate, smoke, and coffee. The flavor is slightly sour and dry with some coffee, raisins, and licorice showing through. The body is a little thinner than some impy stouts Ive had. It was good but Ive had alot better in the style |

213 | Avery The Kaiser Imperial Oktoberfest | United States | Marzen / Oktoberfest | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 This was a really BIG sweet beer. A reddish orange appearance. A hoppy and alcohol filled nose. The flavor is full of caramel, grapefruit, oranges, and some mild spice thrown in. The alcohol does show in the finish. The beer has a very cloying and syrupy aspect to it. Good in small amounts but I dont know if I could finish the bomber myself. |

Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 This was quite an interesting beer. The aroma was butterscotch, lemons, and alcohol. It poured a copper color with a rather large head. The flavor was very citrusy and spicy with some pears and apricots present. A very sweet and spicy finished. I enjoyed it. |

216 | Avery Twelve | United States | Saison | 2.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 4 Oh lord this was the pits. A biscuit and peppery aroma. The appearance was nice anyway golden with a large head. The flavor is funked out in a bad way. Some citrus fruit lurks amognst the spice overkill and pepper. I hate overspiced beer and this fits that mold. Close to a drain pour of a mess. Avery does better than this, whats up? |

217 | Avery White Rascal | United States | Witbier | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 A murky yellow appearance with a moderate white head. A spicy lemon aroma with some orange peels and coriander. The flavor is quite citrusy but a little overspiced for my liking. It has a hefe type quality with some bananas and clove present as well. Overall a pretty good beer. |

218 | Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel | Germany | Dunkel / Dark Lager | 3.4
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 A reddish brown appearance. Aroma is chocolatey but not overpowering. Flavor is slightly sour with a hint of chocolate and raisins. Fairly thin mouthfeel and overall not as flavorful as other Dunkels Ive tried. Pretty good but nothing that really stands out |

219 | Ayinger Brau-Weisse | Germany | Hefeweizen | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 Aroma is bananas, lemons and freshly baked bread. Appearance is a murky yellow with a large head. Flavor is a banana fest mixed in with some whipped cream and lemons. A somewhat crisp and dry aftertaste. If I enjoyed German Hefes I’d be all about this one, but I rarely find any that impress me. Not a fan. |

220 | Ayinger Celebrator Dopplebock | Germany | Doppelbock | 4.7
Aroma: 10 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 This is a top notch beer. Pours almost black with a good head and lacing effect on the glass. Aroma is of chocolate and malt. Taste is amazing! Its a coffee/chocolate taste with enough hops to keep it from being too sweet. An excellent dopplebock and very similar to a porter except more alcohol is present. A world class beer!!! |

221 | Ayinger Jahrhundert | Germany | Helles / Dortmunder | 3.5
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 I saw the name Ayinger and I went for it. Im not a fan of this style but I am impressed. Aroma is of oranges and lemons. Appearance is a cloudy yellow. Flavor is quite lemony and crisp. This is very similar to a witbier to me. Palate is tart and somewhat sweet. This is a great beer for summer. This brewery has really impressed me so far. Good job. |

223 | Azalea Coast East Coast India Pale Ale | United States | IPA | 3.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 8 If you were rating this to style it would be easy to blast it. But I will just rate it based on my overall impression...A dark orange appearance with a moderate head. The aroma is sourheads, lemons, and grapefruit. This is quite sour, very liittle bitterness, in this one. I taste some funky notes with lemons and grapefruit. This reminds me of a sour ale. It caught me off guard but oh well I like it regardless. |

225 | Back Road Black IPA | United States | American Black Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A black color on this one. The aroma is chocolate, toffee, and some citrus. I expected to taste more citrus but that’s ok. The flavor is roasty with some coffee, chocolate, and again just a hint of citrus shows. This seems more like a stout than an IPA. Overall a pretty good beer though. |
