101 | AleSmith Barrel Aged Wee Heavy | United States | Scottish Ale | 4.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 10 | Flavor: 9 | Overall: 9 A brown appearance with virtualy no head. The aroma is filled with chocolate and whiskey. The flavor was somewhat sour and nutty with some chocoate, raisins, vanilla, and of course a lot of whiskey showing up. Pretty awesome, thanks JohnC for the chance to sample this rare beer. |

103 | AleSmith Decadence 2006 (Imperial Evil Dead Red Ale) | United States | Strong Ale | 4.2
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 A murky dark brown appearance with a large head this may be due to the horrible pouring technique of Sassy. Or the mason jar it’s in. The aroma is brown sugar, alcohol, raisins, and nutmeg. The flavor contains a bit of alcohol, molasses, raisins, and brown sugar, how come you taste so good. The aftertaste is somewhat sweet and warming. Thanks JohnC for the hookup. on dis and Sassy for her immense generosity. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 A dark amber appearance with a small head. A cherry, orange, and caramel aroma. The flavor is well balanced but more in the American mold in my opinion. A strong citrus flavor exists with some maltiness in the background. The mouthfeel is a little light with a slight alcohol burn. Not the best Ive had but still damn good. |

109 | AleSmith Wee Heavy Scotch Ale | United States | Scottish Ale | 4.2
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 9 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9 Had this one at the Liars Club. A good malty and nutty aroma. This one was super thick and had a heavy alcohol presence. There were some dark fruits and caramel present in the flavor. A slow sipper indeed but a good one to have a pint of. Id like to try it again. |

110 | AleSmith X | United States | American Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 6 It smells like lemon household cleaner. The beer has a solid yellow apperance. The flavor is somewhat sour but not very bitter. There is not much more going on besides the lemons! Im not unhappy drinking it but I expected something a little less one dimensional from Alesmith. Shockingly average. |

111 | AleSmith YuleSmith - Summer | United States | Imperial IPA | 4.7
Aroma: 9 | Appearance: 10 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 10 | Overall: 9 This is the summer ’04 edition. I could smell this as I poured it. A very citrus, pine, floral, hoppy, caramel, aroma. BANG! A copper color with a moderate head. The flavor is absolutely amazing POW!. A very bitter taste mixed in with some sharp orange peels, caramel, pine, lemons, and grapefruit. God the complexity of this IPA is just amazing. And the balance is perfect. Its not just a hop assault on your palate, it has a decent amount of malt to back up those little aggressive hops. BLING!. This is by far one of the best beers I've ever had! |

114 | Allagash Curieux | United States | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 A golden color with a large white head. Aroma contains some lemons, grass, and whiskey. The flavor contains some strong lemon peel, spices, and good ol jim beam. This beer is too light for barrel aging IMO and especially with discount bourbon. Very strong boozy finish. This is what happens when Belgium meets Kentucky ummm what? |

115 | Allagash Dubbel Reserve | United States | Abbey Dubbel | 3.8
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 Thuis poured a murky brown color with a beige head. The aroma contains some nutmeg, caramel,. toffee, and cherries. The flavor is excellent with some caramel, toffee, vanilla, and cherries. My only complaint, and it’s not much of one, is the body is a bit thin. Overall this is a nice beer. |

119 | Allagash Hugh Malone Ale | United States | Belgian Strong Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 A cloudy yellow appearance with a frizzy? White head. Aroma contains some perfume, spices, oranges, dishwashing soap, coriander. Flavor has IPA traits with some bitter pine, orange peel, and grapefruit. Then here comes the sour, like a sour ex to punch you in the face with sourness. I like sour and bitter but they seem to comine into a transfomer called Unpleasentron. Allagash did good on the style, I just don’t care for the style. |
