I really wasnt digging this. A murky yellowish brown appearance similar to pond water. The aroma was ginger root, unknown spice rack stuff, and lemons. The flavors were really funked out like chili powder? vinegar, honey, and I dunno some herbal tea. This was weird as hell. Pass

An orange appearance. The flavor is similar to cough medicine. Some weird sour beer flavor and hint of herbal junk. No wonder most people drank wine back then.

A murky orange appearance with no head. The aroma is very spiced filled complete with some Andies mint, ginger, and tobacco. Like sniffing a box of Newports or something. WTF. The flavor consists of mint, ginger, caramel, cinammon, and mint. Ho Ho Ho Merry freaking Christmas with all this mint and spice. Well I guess Santa has good a wad of snuff in his mouth because I taste tobacco as well. They are right Ive tasted nothing like it! Pass.

A cloudy yellow appearance with a white head. A citrus and plum aroma. A very floral nose. The flavor is rather sour with some lemons, plums, bananas.I get some of that salt in the aftertaste. Overall good and very different. My first gose.

I may have to go against the grain on this one. Smelled like it was from 2000 BC (that is how far this beer dates back according to the bottle) A sour funky flavor that just doesn't work. Brewing has come along way in 4000 years. Take advantage and get another beer! You may want to try to be "old school" I guess.

A new beer at the store up the road. The redneck behind me in line with his case of Natty Light said "Hell it better have a diamond in it for that price" Ah the joys of living in Tennessee! Anyhow aroma is wheat and lemons with some hops peeping through. It has a cloudy yellow appearance. Flavor is a little bland. Very lager like qualities to be a top fermented ale, sour fruit and wheat seem to dominate. This beer is ok but nothing I will be peeing my pants to return to. Sorry Bubba no diamond in this bottle!

Aroma is non existent. Appearance is a brownish red with decent lacing. Flavor is hopped with some sourness. Palate is a little watery and a touch bitter. Not a bad beer for something to sip on but nothing amazing at all.

Dark orange appearance. Fairly watery palate and flavor. Faint malt and hops are present. A nice little beer that will not offend swill drinkers but not impress lovers of more complex beer. Average

This poured a copper color with a beige head. The aroma contains some citrus, caramel and toffee with a slight floral presence. The flavor consists of some caramel, toffee, and a hint of citrus. Some dark fruit also lingering in there. The finish is rather dry with a hint of bitterness. Overall a pretty good beer.

An amber color with a large fading head. The aroma is malty with some dark fruit and caramel. The flavor contains some bready characteristic with caramel and dark fruit. The palate is rather thin. Overall this was nothing special.

A dark brown appearance with a beige head. The aroma contains some nutmeg, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is a bit dry with some caramel, chocolate with a nutty presence. This seems more like a brown than any alt Ive had but it was pretty good anyway.

This poured a dark copper to brown color with a white head. The aroma contains some caramel, toffee, and bready notes. The flavor is malty with more caramel, toffee, and some cheerios. Yup I said cherrios! The finish is a bit sweet. Overall a nice session beer.

Tap at Calhoun’s - This poured a light amber color. The aroma was malty with some dark fruit and caramel. The flavor is rather watery with a slight bitterness present. Overall not much going on here.

A dark copper color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, citrus, and biscuit. Flavor is well balanced with some dark fruit, caramel, oats. Aftertaste is rather bitter. This how all ambers should be.

Excuse me I didn’t order the Yuengling? Amber color with a white head. Aroma contains some caramel and corn action. Flavor is slightly malty with some grassy notes. I gave Yuengling a 3.2 for providing a decent beer to the masses, Yazoo gets no such score I expect better. Overall decent.

The beer pours a dark orange with a moderate head. A very faint malty aroma and very hard to describe what if anything I smell. The flavor is somewhat malty with some walnuts, oats, and a hint of citrus bitterness. The body is a bit thin but it does leave a hint of hoppiness on the tounge. Overall its standard session stuff but not too bad either

A decent amber appearance with a large white head. Its all downhill now. A very flat watery taste with a hint of either malt or some chemical poison. Im not dead yet. This is water with food coloring, blech!

A murky orangish brown color with little head. The aroma is quite nice with a heavy dose of caramel along with some toffee and pine. The flavor is somewhat sweet with caramel standing out. I also taste some toffee and peaches. The finish is slightly bitter with a rather watery palate. Overall this is not bad.

A copper color with a beige head. A caramel and citrus flavor. It very similar to an octoberfest. Some spices are also in there. Not much to it but overall it was pretty good.

An amber color with a moderate beige head. A nice floral and orange peel aroma similar to an IPA. The flavor is slightly bitter with a good malt profile. There are some vanilla, orange, and grapefruit tastes present. A well done amber ale and one I may return to for a session 6er sometime.

The appearance is reddish brown with a beige head. Aroma is chocolate, figs, raisins, and orange peels. The flavor is quite bitter with some lemons, oranges, brown sugar, caramel, and chocolate. Some alcohol in the finish. This reminds me a little of Arrogant Bastard but a tad less malty.

A dark amber color with a large head. Flavor is quite hoppy especially for a beer labeled an amber ale. A nice malt profile that makes this a very well balanced beer. Overall a good beer.
