Pleasant aroma of concentrated apple juice and oak. Sweet flavour, concentrated apple juice / cider and oak again, delicious.

Medium sweet flavour, very distinct notes of meadowsweet on a background of sweet perry. Interesting, but not something I'm likely to buy again. A little carbonation would have helped.

Jan. 2022: Rerate, 750 ml green "champagne" bottle, vintage 2020, bought at the cidery in August 2021. ABV is 9%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Fresh and pleasant aroma and flavour of the Discovery and Aroma apple varieties. Semi dry. Original rating Oct. 2020: Served per glass at NOK 115 (!) at Hotel Ullensvang, Lofthus. Golden colour, moderately sparkling (the bottle was already opened). Very fresh and attractive aroma and flavour of eating apples / dessert apples, semi-dry (or semi-sweet, if you like). Would happily buy again.

Moderately hazy (when poured carefully) greenish pale straw colour, no lasting head. Aroma of Nordic apples, a hint of sulphites. Apple flavour, some unfresh notes. Cannot compete with the best Norwegian ciders.

Nov. 2020: 750 ml corked & caged clear bottle, vintage 2019, from Vinmonopolet Odda. ABV is 8.5%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived head. Lovely aroma of Gravenstein and other dessert apple varieties. Medium sweet but still crisp flavour of eating apples. Light bodied and refreshing for its strength. An enjoyable cider!

Even more "farmhouse" character this time, very good cider.
