Pale golden colour. Pours sparkling with a huge but shortlived white head. Distinct aroma and flavour of Ingridmarie apples, hints of oak and sulphites.

750 ml bottle, as Andersen Sigrid Æble Brut, batch #030500, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 11.5%. Apple varieties are Ingrid Marie, Belle de Boskoop and Jonagored. Clear and very pale straw colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a huge but shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma of lagered and oxidised winter apples, hints of oak and sulphites. Fizzy and slightly citric mouthfeel. Apple flavour mid between dry and sweet, noticeable alcohol. Good, but overpriced.

Very sweet flavour, too sweet for me, with the same elements as the aroma. A little fruity acidity would have helped. Probably intended to be drunk as a mulled cider.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Clear and pale straw colour. Crisp and semi-dry aroma and flavour of apples, perfectly balanced with discrete hops, not too bitter. Lovely!

Strong aroma of oak and fortified wine - the apples are there in the background. Very sweet and intense flavour, notes of sweet apples, raisins, oak and fortified wine.

Nice aroma of Karin Schneider apples, some "spicy" notes. Flavour of medium sweet dessert apples, pleasant to drink.

Medium sweet flavour of apples and oak, a hint of sulphites again. A very good cider.

Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of fresh apples, not too sweet. Some sulphites again. Fairly nice for a nearly n/a cider.

750 ml green bottle, from the cidery. ABV is 8%. Pétillant-naturel. Apple varieties are Rubinstep, Aroma and Katja. Extremely pale straw colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a large but shortlived head. Lovely aroma of fresh eating apples, a hint of sulphites. Dry and crisp flavour, notes of apples and brut champagne, must be excellent with seafood, particularly salmon and trout.

Aroma of pears and pear cores, a hint of sulphites. Dry flavour, with a distinct and lemony acidity which I have not encountered in any variety of pears.
