Medium sweet flavour of apples, moderate tannins, hints of oak and sulphites.

Only the faintest haziness, far from "cloudy". Aroma of sour and bittersweet cider apples. The flavour is more sweet than dry, but still rather crisp. Very moderate tannins. Pleasant to drink.

Semi-dry flavour, notes of cider apples with moderate tannins, feels rather light bodied for its strength, again notes of oak and hints of sulphites

750 ml bottle, vintage 2019, from the cidery (or possibly from Vinmonopolet Odda). ABV is 8%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Aroma of slightly "spicy" apple varieties. Dry flavour, crisp and slightly "spicy" apples. I had it with pasta (not seafood), but it must be great with the seafood for which it is intended.

375 ml slim clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken, at an outrageous price. Batch 2016-02. ABV is 10.5%. Deep golden to orange colour, no carbonation. Lovely aroma of concentrated apple juice / apple cider. Extremely sweet and nice concentrated flavour of Norwegian dessert apple varieties, some acidity, hints of oak and sulphites.

Lovely strong aroma of apples, apple peel and oak, a hint of sulphites. The flavour is medium sweet with some acidity, notes of apples, apple peel, oak and sulphites again. Hints of warming alcohol.

330 ml bottle, vintage 2019-02, as Åkre Edel Rosésider med bringebær. Produced 07.07.20. I think I also saw bottles in another store where "med bringebær" was not part of the name, but I assume they just changed the label - there seems to be raspberries in all of them. ABV is 4.7%. From Coop Extra, Odda. Clear signal red colour, pours sparkling with an off-white pink-ish head. Distinct and pleasant aroma of raspberries and raspberry juice. The flavour is mid between sweet and dry, notes of apples and raspberries. Short finish.

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, harvest 2018, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived head. Strong and distinct aroma of dessert apples. Light bodied. The flavour is medium dry, notes of apples and sulphites. No match for the Edel 12%, but okay. Original rating: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, small white head that soon disappears. Moderate carbonation. "Perfumed" aroma of sweet eating apples, a hint of oak. The flavour is better, nice and fresh flavour of apples, medium sweet.

Pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Moderate aroma of pears, a hint of rubber. Dry flavour of pears, better than I feared. Drank it ice cold though.

Typical and very nice aroma of Gravenstein apples. Dry flavour of said apples, hints of sulphites. Okay, but I'd like some carbonation.

Very nice aroma of Summerred apples, which also is a good variety for eating or juice / must. Also a hint of sulphites. Dry flavour, probably good with food, some tannins, but I'd prefer it sparkling.

The flavour has a considerable fruity acidity from Norwegian orchard apples, hints of honey. Unusual but interesting and drinkable.

Rerate, 750 ml clear bottle, batch #004/2020, shared with my son. Purchased at Vinmonopolet July 2021. ABV is 8%. Very pale yellow colour, pours sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Fresh apple aroma and flavour, the apple varieties used are Summerred and Red Aroma. I'm upping the score a bit. Original rating, 2.8: Shared 750 ml bottle. Clear and very pale yellow colour. Moderate apple aroma, not impressive. The flavour is better, medium sweet with distinct apple notes. This is their first cider, will be interesting to see what they can do in the future.
