1401 | Salamander Lindøy Blonde Ale | Norway | Blonde Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 330 ml bottle, as Salamander Lindøy Blonde Ale, batch #064, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Slowly gushing bottle. The glass fills completely by white foam, a pale golden beer appears underneath only very slowly, takes a long time to settle. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, damp basement, dust and citric hops. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel. Distinct flavour of Lemondrop hops, but the bitterness is too low. |

Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 April 2017: 250 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Pours fizzy, crystal clear and very pale yellow colour, moderate but shortlived white head. Sweetish aroma of grass, malts and cookie dough. Fizzy mouthfeel, unpleasant. 1405 | Hobsons Twisted Spire | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 2.1
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 April 2013: 500 ml clear bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.6%. Very pale golden colour, moderate white head. Typical clear bottle "skunky" and Heineken-like aroma. Sharpish hoppy bitterness throughout, but little hop flavour besides the bitterness. No body to support the bitterness. Not a very nice beer, the poorest I’ve had from Hobsons so far. Won’t buy again. |

1406 | Ringwood Boondoggle | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Aug. 2018: Cask half pint at The Lamplighter, St. Helier. ABV was 4.2%. Golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma, some malts, a little fruit. Some fruit / berries and tingling hops in the flavour, much better than the bottled version. Sep. 2016: Shared 500 ml bottle, ABV 4.2%, bought in London. Golden colour, moderate hite head. Aroma of artificial candy / pear drops / crappy Swedish "pear" cider. Slightly sweet flavour, moderate hops, but the bad aroma ruins the drinking experience. |

1409 | SKA True Blonde Ale | United States | Blonde Ale | 2.7
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 Oct. 2017: 355 ml can, as SKA The True Blonde, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong and sweetish fruity and grassy aroma, notes of artificial candy. The flavour has also some sweetness, but not as much as the aroma made med fear. Crisp with decent hops, but unfortunately again with hints of artificial candy. Overall disappointing, this brewery can do better. |

1422 | St. Peter's G-Free | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 2.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, bought at Ultra Stavanger (Stadionparken). ABV is 4.2%. Clear deep golden colour, moderate head. Pleasant aroma of Amarillo hops with notes of mandarin/tangerine. I started drinking it too cold, but the flavour is fairly crisp and dry with some fruity hops first, then some rubbery notes in the middle like sayravai says, and a very bitter finish. This bitterness is not entirely pleasant, as the beer is light bodied and lacks malts and sweetness to balance the bitterness. If i suffered from coeliac disease I would probably buy this beer again, but as gluten is not a problem for me, St. Peters Brewery has other beers that are more to my liking. |

1423 | Copper Dragon Golden Pippin | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV of the bottled version is 4.2%. Extremely pale and crystal clear yellow colour, moderate white head. Very nice hoppy aroma with strong notes of oranges and tropical fruits. The flavour is zesty and well hopped throughout, with a nice grapefruity bitterness in the finish and aftertaste. A typical "summer ale" which I, however, was quite happy to drink on a dreary January night. |

1424 | Badger Golden Glory | United Kingdom | Blonde Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Distinct and beguiling aroma of ripe peaches / peach flowers, even peach candy - not quite what you expect in a beer, though. The flavour is fruity with moderate notes of peaches and zesty hops (can’t identify the alleged notes of melons). Not too sweet, not too bitter (actually, slightly MORE bitterness wouldn’t hurt). Soft mouthfeel, refreshing and pleasant to drink. A nice change-of-pace beer. |

Moderate aroma of fruity hops, hint of apricots. Light bodied and refreshing: The flavour has distinct fruity hops on a moderately sweet bakground of malts, ending in a well balanced resinous and grapefruity bitterness. A nice little summer ale this one. |
