1133 | St. Peter's Ruby Red Ale | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.3%. Deep copper to chestnut colour, moderate off-white head. Pleasant aroma of malts with moderate notes of caramel, earthy and fruity hops (Styrian Goldings) also come up front. The flavour is malty and woody but not sweet, and there are plenty of hops throughout, with a fairly bitter aftertaste. Good beer! |

1134 | Inderøy Hommeløl | Norway | Bitter | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, brew #830, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Deep golden to brown colour, slightly hazy, with a big head. The aroma has malts, some caramel, fruit and hops, also wood, juniper and resin, a hint of spices, maybe a faint hint of smoke too. The flavour is woody and resiny with decent hops, again with a hint of smoke. Has a flair of "traditional homebrew" this one. I like it! |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.0%. What the Football Association has to do with this beer, I don’t know - probably nothing at all. Cloudy golden brown colour, decent head. Very moderate aroma, just a hint of toffee and bakery. "Dusty" and fairly dry flavour with some malt, hints of biscuits and toffee, and moderate hops in the finish. |

1139 | Integrated Bottling Solutions BSH (Back Street Heroes) | United Kingdom | Bitter | 2.8
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Bottle conditioned. ABV is 4.5%. The actual brewery, which possibly is Freeminer, is not mentioned on the label, only I.B.S. Ltd. Cloudy amber colour, moderate head. Aroma of fermenting fruits and vegetables - yes, there are notes of kitchen garbage. The flavour is yeasty and fruity, notes of rotting fruits and vegetables again, like a homebrew going bad. Dry hoppy finish. I guess they have been trying, but have not succeeded. I’m not even sure the big bad biker on the label would have been entirely happy with this brew. |

1142 | Durham Green Goddess | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.1
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 Cask conditioned at The Three Judges, Glasgow. Extremely pale golden colour with a greenish hue, minimal head. Very moderate aroma, some hops, hints of grass and citrus. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has a noticeable hoppiness with citrussy and grassy notes, fairly dry. I’d like some presence of malts too! OKish and drinkable, but the least impressive beer I’ve had from Durham so far. |

Very nice aroma of fruity and zesty hops, hints of blackcurrants and maybe some balsamic vinegar. The flavour did not take advantage of the beer being served too warm. Biscuity flavour with tolerable hops, but not very exciting. |

1150 | OHanlons Goldblade | United Kingdom | Bitter | 3.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Rerate, 500 ml bottle, thanks to oh6gdx (I forgot that I had rated it previously!). Bottle conditioned, ABV is 4.0%. Hazy pale golden colour, huge white head. Lovely aroma, wheaty with notes of tropical fruits and cloves. The flavour is also wheaty, citric and very refreshing, moderate notes of cloves. I’m upping it a few points. Original rating: Bottle, at RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Called a "traditional wheat beer". Hazy golden colour, decent head. Wheaty / hefeweizen aroma and flavour, cloves. This is indeed a wheat beer and not a "bitter" IMO. |
