Soft and slightly citric mouthfeel. The flavour is smooth and slightly citric with a moderate sweetness, moderate herbal hops in the finish. Not too bad.

330 ml clear bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 4.2%. Pale golden colour, minimal head. Aroma of green chilies and green peppers / other uncooked vegetables, not very inviting. The flavour has a solid chili burn from start to finish, no sign of anything else (like malts and hops). Really hot chili burn in the aftertaste. Oh dear. Glad I did not finish a whole bottle of this.

Danish discount pils, brewed for the Spar grocery store chain. Can''t tell the difference between this beer and Star Pilsner + Neptun Pilsner. Are they possibly the same beer with different labels? At last - the legendary PBR is mine! 355 ml Export version, 4.5% ABV, from Superbrugsen, Ans, Denmark. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Sweetish candy aroma, some grassy notes. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour? What flavour? Tastes mainly like carbonated water, just a hint of sweetness reveals that it is not. Papery and "empty" finish. Gets one point for not having any offensive "side flavours".

500 ml green bottle, many thanks to the ever attentive yngwie, who this way gave me a new "beer country" on my list. ABV is 4.8%. Appears to be imported to Sweden via France. Golden colour, large and lasting white head. "Skunky" Heineken-like aroma (which I do not necessarily find horrible) , also some less pleasant vegetable notes. The flavour is first slightly citrussy and refrehing, then overtaken by unpleasant notes of cardboard, over-boiled vegetables, dust and metallic hop extract. Disgusting aftertaste. Sure, you could probably survive on Kilikia in the Armenian summer heat, but there is hardly any reason to export this stuff.

Very pale yellow colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of grass and artificial candy. The flavour is medium sweet (for a pilsener), but not quite as sweet as the aroma made me fear. No offensive sidenotes, so the beer is drinkable, but has far too little hops to make me really happy. Dry finish.

355 ml clear bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.5%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Strong sweetish Heineken-like lightstruck aroma, notes of maize. The flavour (as far as there is any flavour at all) has maize, grain and wet cardboard. Some weak citric notes, a little sweetness, minimal hops. As the beer is wet, cold and carbonated, it may serve some purpose under the Mexican sun - otherwise, it is one to forget.
