5551 | Bali Hai Draft Beer | Indonesia | Pale Lager | 2.2
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 330 ml can, from a Bali supermarket. ABV is 5%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Strong grassy aroma, also notes of flowers and artificial candy. Fairly sweet flavour, bordering on "sugary", some malts, some fruit, minimal bitterness. Not undrinkable when cold - certainly not something to search out, but as it seems to be available in every supermarket in Bali, you take what you can get ... |

Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, from Helgø MENY, Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale straw colour, moderate to small white head. Horrible aroma of artificial fruit esters and dishwasher liquid. The flavour is slightly better, at least it is not too sweet, but the aroma ruins it all. Some bitterness in the finish. Thin mouthfeel. |

5564 | 7 Fjell Juan Moore Cerveza Mexicana | Norway | Pale Lager | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 Small sample from 330 ml clear bottle, at Vectura-messe. ABV is 4.7%. Pale golden colour. Fairly fresh aroma and flavour, "clean" and slightly citric without any unpleasant off-flavours. Not a super-interesting beer, of course, but should be decent enough to drink on a warm summer's day. Better than Corona and Sol, and that is obviously the intention behind this beer. I might even buy a bottle to re-rate, if it turns up in a grocery store in my neck of the woods. |

Deep golden colour, clear untill the yeast is poured in the end. Small white head. Aroma of yeast and grain, some floral notes. Slightly citric and lagerish mouthfeel (well, it IS a lager). The flavour has first some citric notes, then rather boring grainy notes take over. Low bitterness. Not much here to keep me excited. |
