330 ml can, as Oslo Brewing Co. Fjord og Fjell Pale Ale (Pale Ale has been added to the label as a sticker). From Vinmonopolet, possibly Stavanger Herbarium. ABV is 5.6%. Hazy murky yellow to orange colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of citric hops, distinct notes of oranges, hints of sprucetips. Citric hops in the flavour too, on a decent malty base, but not too sweet. A moderate piney bitterness in the finish. Better than I expected - a nice surprise.

The flavour is moderately sweet, with the same elements as the aroma, and a fairly distinct hop bitterness throughout.

440 ml can, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus and various tropical fruits. Citric mouthfeel and flavour, also hints of tropical fruits and sprucetips. A moderate bitterness in the aftertaste. Good beer.

Nov. 2012: 500 ml bottle, nicked by hand from the rightful owner (who got it as a gift from New Zealand). ABV is 6.0%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of Nelson Sauvin hops (and probably other NZ hops), notes of white grapes and crushed gooseberries. Light bodied for its strength. The flavour has distinct notes of NZ hops, "herbal" and dry white wine and green gooseberries up front, pine in the finish. Good stuff.

Strong and pleasant aroma of tropical fruits, particularly mango and pineapple, also hints of citrus and sprucetips. Decent mouthfeel for its ABV. Flavour like the aroma, also noticeable bittering hops.

The flavour has distinct notes of citrus and pine needles, hints of tropical fruits. Not too sweet, decent bitterness in the finish. A nice summer refreshment, might buy again.

Smooth flavour of said fruits, oatmeal and hints of sprucetips. Low bitterness, not too sweet. Nicely balanced, a decent refreshment.

Oct. 2019: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Orange colour, very little carbonation. Aroma and flavour of earthy English hops. This is a classical British pale ale / bitter in my book, nothing "perfectly modern" about it. A bit more carbonation would help. Quite drinkable though.

Cask half pint at The Grill, Aberdeen. 4.0% ABV. Deep golden to copper colour, white head. Very moderate aroma, some malts. Malty flavour, medium dry, with "dusty" and earthy hops. Fairly distinct and sharpish bittering hops in the finish.

330 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.7%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of floral and citric hops. Light bodied as expected, but not bad for a 3.7% beer. Decent hoppy flavour with fruity and herbal notes, ending in a noticeable bitterness. Went down smoothly. Might buy again.
