5036 | Bangla | United Kingdom | Lager | 2.7
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 660 ml bottle, as Bangla Premium Beer, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Very cool design of bottle and label. Brewed and bottled in the UK for LWC Ltd., Manchester, M11 2ER. Pale yellow colour, big white head. Fairly nice flowery aroma. The flavour is rather sweet with noticeable pilsener malts, bordering on "sugary", but not quite there. Some floral notes, hints of alcohol but not disturbingly so. Low bitterness. Not a great beer, but not awful either, should be acceptable to wash down a curry. |

5041 | Stockholm Fine Festival Beer 7,2% | Sweden | Lager | 2.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 4 (500 ml can, in Sweden). Golden colour, good thick head. Sweet candy aroma. Flavour is sweet and alcoholic, but not as cloying and disgusting as some other Swedish lagers of this strength. Slightly lighter and fresher than the most horrific specimens of this style. At least I was able to finish this one. No reason to keep a festival for it, though. |

5042 | Samuel Smith Organic Lager | United Kingdom | Lager | 2.8
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 550 ml bottle, at Café Luna, Aalborg. ABV was 5%. Golden colour, big to moderate white head. Moderate aroma of flowery and grassy hops. Allegedly "a touch hoppier than many lagers", I still find the flavour rather bland and boring. More malts than hops though. At least there are no offensive side flavours. |

Moderate aroma, some malts. The flavour is slightly alcoholic (a bit of a surprise, the ABV is fairly moderate), but the beer is also quite well hopped, which makes it slightly-above-average for European golden lagers. |
