On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Hazy deep golden to orange colour, large to moderate white head. Strong sweetish aroma and flavour of crystal malts + fruity and piney American hops, notes of oranges. A quite good IPA.

Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013, served a bit too cold. Deep golden to brown colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of "dusty" hops, a hint of toffee in the background. The medium dry flavour has a distinct and sharp hoppy bitterness throughout, but I get little hop flavour besides the bitterness. Not that great, really.

473 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter, thanks to my niece. ABV is 6.6%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of citrus, peaches, pine and spruce. Soft mouthfeel. Pleasant flavour, moderately sweet, with the same elements as the aroma. Decent bitterness.

Aroma of citrussy and herbal hops, hints of cloves, coriander, lemongrass and dill, also brettanomyces / farmhouse kitchen. Refreshing flavour, medium dry, notes of herbs and spices, some citrus, not overly bitter for an IPA.

Sample on tap at What’s Brewing Beer Festival, Stavanger. Called a "session IPA", ABV 4.3%. Clear pale golden colour, white head. Distinct aroma of fruity hops, tropical fruits galore, esp. mango. Light bodied as expected, but refreshing. The flavour has distinct hops throughout, tropical fruits first, then a solid bitterness.

Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus and spruce. Fizzy and citric mouthfeel, light bodied. The flavour has moderate notes of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of spruce. The bitterness is too low.

Hops are Mandarina Bavaria, Citra, Mosaic, Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. Malts are pilsner, pale, wheat, Munich and caramel. Brewed with apricot juice and orange juice. Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, moderate to small white head. Strong and pleasant aroma of pine and spruce, apricot and oranges. Distinct fruity flavour, notes of oranges, grapefruit and apricot, also resinous hops in the finish. Refreshing beer.

Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, hints of blackberries and pine, with a subdued but complex malt profile in the background. The flavour has first a broad malt profile with some toasted and mildly roasted notes, a hint of chocolate, but the beer is not very sweet. Then the hops take over, with fruity and mildly resinous notes, and a moderate bitterness in the finish. Decent beer.

Hazy yellow colour, small and shortlived white head. Aroma of pineapple, papaya, crushed gooseberries and spruce. The flavour is first citric, followed by said fruits, with a moderate resinous and medicinal bitterness in the finish.

There might be a certain fruitiness from the kveik too, but it drowns in all the fruity hops. Flavour of citrus and said tropical fruits, also notes of pine needles and sprucetips. Pleasant to drink.

The flavour is not too sweet, and has notes of citrus, yellow stonefruits and tropical fruits again, a moderate hop bitterness in the finish. Might buy again, but only on a hot summer's day.
