Refreshing citric flavour, not too sweet. Low bitterness, a bit more would not hurt, but the beer is a great refreshment as it is.

The flavour is slightly citric, moderate notes of grain and caramel, with a metallic bitterness in the finish. Won't buy again.

July 2017: Keg halfpint at Graingers, Dublin. Golden colour, white head. Nice aroma of fruity / citrussy hops. Distinctly hoppy flavour, grapefruity first, with a resinous bitterness.

August 2021: 330 ml can, as vandeStreek Hazy Weekend New England IPA, at the Café de Zondebok & 't Zwarte Schaap, Rotterdam. I did not take note of which hops were used, and I am not sure that it was mentioned on the can at all. I hope this is the right one, as it is the most recent. (Untappd has a generic listing.) Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Hoppy aroma and flavour, notes of citrus and tropical fruits, hints of spruce.

Oct. 2017: 500 ml can, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 5.9%, IBU 56. Golden colour, large white head. Lovely aroma of tropical fruits (mango and papaya), also citrus. Flavour of citrus and piney hops, hints of tropical fruits, the bitterness appears as moderate. A well balanced and very good beer.

Hoppy flavour on a medium sweet malty base, again with notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit and pine needles. Resinous and bitter finish.

Tolerably decent flavour, not much of an IPA, but may pass as a pale ale. Moderate fruity and earthy hops, hints of toffee. Nice enough to drink.
