440 ml can, from Coop Extra, Sauda. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate to small white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops, tropical fruits and flowers, some citrus. Light bodied, but not too bad for a beer of this ABV. The flavour is citric with hints of tropical fruits, tolerably malty, with a decent piney bitterness in the finish. Might well buy again.

The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, notes of bitter oranges and pine needles, a distinct and sharp bitterness in the finish.

Light bodied as expected, citric and fizzy mouthfeel. Not too bad for its ABV, though. Citric flavour, also notes of tropical fruits, not too sweet, moderate to low bitterness, moreish.

440 ml can, as Monkey Brew Nova Christmas NEIPA, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of pineapple and other tropical fruits, also citrus. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour has soft tropical fruits, also citrus and pine needles, moderately bitter finish. Nice and refreshing beer, but there is absolutely nothing "Christmassy" about it.

Aug. 2017: Keg halfpint at The Archibald Simpson, Aberdeen. ABV is 4.2%. Pale golden colour, white head, nice lacing. Minimal grainy aroma. Sweetish flavour of butterscotch, some bittering hops, but not much hop flavour besides the bitterness.

Beer No. 4 of my 7 beers flight at the brewery tap. Golden colour, white head. The brewery´s deScription says it all: "A very hop forward, in-your-face IPA. Citrussy, grapefruity, piney." Good beer, the best of my flight. Next!

Slightly dry flavour, nice to have an IPA that has not been killed by crystal malts. Piney and grapefruity hops, bitter aftertaste. Very refreshing.

355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy. Moderate white head. Strong aroma of citrussy hops and old orange marmalade, hints of pine and dust. Fairly crisp and dry flavour, not as sweet as many other American IPAs. Very hoppy, with a very bitter and dry aftertaste.

Aug. 2016: 355 ml can, BB date 13 days ago. ABV is 6.5%. Pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fresh aroma of pine, spruce, citrus and newmown grass. Medium dry and crisp flavour with distinct notes, notes of pine needles, spruce tips and grapefruit. Refreshing.

Feb. 2015: 355 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.7%. Clear deep golden to amber to orange colour, moderate white head. Pleasant hoppy aroma, but not overwhelming. Hints of orange marmalade. The flavour is surprisingly well balanced and harmonious for something called "HopDevil" - hoppy of course, but no devil is at loose here, rather a benevolent HopAngel. Me like!
