Soft mouthfeel. The slightly sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, with a harsh bitterness in the aftertaste.

473 ml can, as Collective Arts Liquid Arts Festival Series Surround Sound V.3 (Columbus, Simcoe & Galaxy), from Bestofbeers, Denmark. ABV is 8.2%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Strong and pleasant hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, tropical fruits and pine. The flavour is refreshing (for its strength), notes of said fruits and pine again, balanced by a moderate malty sweetness. The bitterness is moderate though.

750 ml corked and caged bottle in the Smokestack Series, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy deep orange to amber colour, large off-white head. Delightful sweetish aroma of fruity American hops, notes of oranges. Very hoppy flavour on a solid malty base, notes of oranges again, the bitterness is distinct but not too extreme. A very fine beer!

355 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.2%. Cloudy / opaque yellow to orange colour, moderate white head. Lovely aroma of citrus fruits / Citra hops, also notes of spruce, hints of tropical fruits. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, and a decent and resinous hop bitterness.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Hazy deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of over-ripe pineapple and slightly decaying tropical fruits, also old orange marmalade. Lacks the characteristics I've come to expect from Nelson Sauvin and Motueka. The flavour has also an unfresh character, with notes of stale or decaying fruits. Some lactose(?) sweetness. Low bitterness. Clearly drinkable after all, but not as good as expected.

330 ml bottle, possibly from Føtex, Ebeltoft. ABV is 9.5%, IBU 100. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of citrus, crushed gooseberries and apricots. Citric flavour, also tropical fruits and apricots. A distinct grapefruity bitterness in the finish. Nice beer.

500 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 8.0%. Slightly golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of malts, grain, yellow plums, old jam, a hint of pine. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour has citrus, yellow plums and pine / resin, fairly bitter finish. Okay, but not really great.

Flavour again of pineapple, other tropical fruits and honey melon, also citrus. Not too sweet though. The bitterness is moderate to low.

June 2015: 355 ml bottle, vintage 2013, BB date 31.05.2014, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 10.4%. Orange colour, slightly hazy. Large head, slightly off-white. Strong hoppy aroma, notes of orange marmalade and pine needles. Very sweet and very bitter flavour, fruity and piney hops galore, but the sweetness and bitterness are nearly too much for me.

Weird aroma of broth, vomit and sewage, gets a bit better after a while in the glass, a hint of citrus and grass in the background. Medium sweet and malty flavour, some citric and piney hops in the finish. Drinkable, but hardly a beer I'll buy again.

Soft mouthfeel, easy drinking for its strength. Hoppy flavour on a sufficient malty base, but not very sweet. Hints of Seville oranges, grapefruit and pine. Dangerously drinkable.

Resinous and distinctly bitter flavour, sweetish notes of caramel or crystal malts, hints of grapefruit and bitter orange marmalade. A typical American West Coast DIPA - from Ireland.
