Pleasant aroma of pineapple, mango, passionfruit and other tropical fruits, a hint of sprucetips. Citric and juicy mouthfeel. The flavour is medium sweet, with notes of tropical fruits and citrus, a very moderate bitterness in the finish. Nice to drink.

Nice aroma of tangerine and orange marmalade, a hint of crushed gooseberries and kiwi fruit. Flavour of oranges (incl. bitter Seville), piney bittering hops in the finish. More of a West Coast IPA than a double NEIPA in my book, but who cares, as long as it tastes good?

April 2014: 500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. ABV is 7.5%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish notes of caramelized orange marmalade, crystal malts and citrussy and piney American hops. Medium sweet flavour, with the same elements as in the aroma. A little less sweetness and even more hops would be nice, but this is still not a bad shot at an "American" IPA.

A bit "unclean" aroma of various over-ripe tropical fruits. The flavour has some citrus in addition to said "unclean" notes of over-ripe tropical fruits, but lacks freshness and bitterness.

Citrussy flavour, grapefruit notes, some malty sweetness, some spicy and herbal notes, with resinous bittering hops in the finish.

Nov. 2014: Shared bottle at local tasting, thanks to our beerpal Olav. ABV is 9.5%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Surprisingly moderate aroma, some fruity and piney hops, stale marmalade and a little caramel and dust. Distinctly hoppy flavour throughout on a decent malty base, nice bitterness, well balanced.

November 2019: 330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.5%. Hops are 2018 harvest Columbus, Citra and Centennial. Deep golden to orange colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grapefruit and spruce, a hint of tropical fruits. The flavour has some sweetness, but not too much. Distinct hops as expected, but far from extreme for a double IPA. Moderate aftertaste. Notes of citrus, spruce and pineapple, as the brewery suggests.

Distinctly hoppy flavour too, medium dry, notes of pine and grapefruit, hints of crushed white grapes and tropical fruits. Bitter aftertaste. Very good. Would certainly buy again.
