Jan. 2021: 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%, IBU 15. Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of wheat, blood oranges and other citrus fruits, a hint of cloves. Citric and somewhat fizzy mouthfeel. Slightly sweet flavour, again of blood oranges and other citrus fruits, hints of cloves and very moderate hops. *Now sampled the new can version with 35 IBU. Significantly more bitter, otherwise the same.

Aug. 2018: Rerate, cask pint at The Beehive (JDW landside, South terminal, Gatwick Airport). ABV 4.5%. Golden colour, white head. Pleasant aroma and flavour of citrus / lemons, but not too sour. Decent hops, well balanced. Refreshing. I'm upping the score several points. Original rating: Cask 1/3 pint, gravity dispense, at the 16th Twickenham Beer & Cider Festival. Pale golden colour, small white head. Moderate aroma of lemons. Lemony flavour all right, but not much more than that. Thin body.

750 ml bottle, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.5%. Organic. Moderately hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Distinct aroma of over-ripe bananas, wheatbun dough and cloves, some citrus too. The flavour is wheaty and medium sweet, notes of banana and distinct cloves again, very moderate hops.

Sep. 2016: 500 ml bottle, from a supermarket in Rhodos. ABV is 5%. Slightly hazy pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of banana and cloves. Refreshing flavour, not too sweet, banana and cloves again.

500 ml test bottle from the brewery. Batch #9, ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy and pale golden colour, huge white head. Nice aroma with distinct notes of cloves, hints of cinnamon and banana. Refreshing flavour with cloves and citrus, hints of banana. Light bodied. Okay.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Ancient pink to red colour, large off-white to pink head. Aroma of cherries, marzipan and cherry kernels. Refreshing flavour, wheaty and not too sweet nor sour, moderate notes of cherries. Harmonious and pleasant to drink.

November 2012: Shared 500 ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, at Cardinal Yule beer tasting. Surprisingly dull aroma, no sign of the typical wheat beer notes, just some dust. The flavour is somewhat better than the aroma, sweetish notes, hints of cloves and banana. Very far from a great beer though, the most inferior I’ve had from Indslev.

440 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.2%, IBU 45. Hazy pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of dragonfruit and citrus. Citrus and dragonfruit in the flavour too, moderately sweet, slightly bitter finish. Very refreshing.

500 ml green bottle, shared with my son, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.6%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Malty ang grassy aroma. The flavour has some malty sweetness and tolerable herbal hops. Decent body for the style.

440 ml can, as Buxton Super Helles Lager, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.9%. Very pale straw colour, small white head. Weak aroma, some pilsener malts and herbal hops, a hint of broth. Citric mouthfeel. The flavour has slightly citric and herbal hops. Easy drinking, but not impressive.

Oct. 2014: Shared 500 ml swingtop bottle, from Getränke Hoffmann, Harrislee. Pale golden colour, white head. Fairly pleasant aroma of newmown grass, hints of flowers and honey. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour. Medium sweet flavour of pilsener malts and moderate floral and grassy hops. Not too bad.

Cask halfpint at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, as The Park Augusta Dortmund Export Bier. ABV is 5.1%. Served a bit too warm (above cellar temperature). Golden colour, minimal white head. Moderate aroma, some herbal hops. Distinct herbal hops in the flavour, sufficient malts.

Keg halfpint at Wetherspoon's, Victoria Station. Golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma. "Clean" and refreshing Helles flavour, sufficient malts, moderate hops.

500 ml swingtop bottle, as Hacker Pschorr Münchner Gold, from Seven Cellars. ABV is 5.5%. Crystal clear pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of sweetish malts and floral hops, hints of grass and honey. Malty and moderately sweet flavour, a hint of honey again, moderate herbal hops in the finish.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.5%. Clear and pale golden colour, large white head. Nice floral aroma, a hint of honey. Citric / sharpish mouthfeel. The flavour is first distinctly malty, followed by moderate herbal bittering hops.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Clear deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts and herbal hops. Refreshing and medium dry flavour, malts and herbal hops again, maybe not so very "special", but nice enough to drink. A decent helles, no more, no less.

On tap at Zip 4020, before the soccer match Viking - HamKam. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts and herbal hops. Nice and "clean" pilsener flavour, with a decent balance between the malts and hops. Better than I feared (yes, I was thirsty, and the beer was cold).

June 2015: 500 ml bottle, BB date 06.06.2014, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. Pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of grain and grass. The flavour was probably fresher a year ago, but is not undrinkable. Some malty and grainy notes.
