440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Klepp. ABV is 6.2%. Opaque / murky yellow colour with lots of pulp, moderate to small pale yellow head. Aroma of mango and carrot juice. Medium sour flavour, notes of lactic acid and over-ripe mango, a hint of carrot juice. Fairly refreshing, low bitterness.

330 ml can, as Rygr Sure Anna Ananas & Kokos Piña Colada Surøl, from Vinmonopolet Herbarium, Stavanger. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of lime, hints of pineapple and coconut. Sweet & sour flavour of lime and lactic acid, also distinct notes of pineapple and coconut.

440 ml can, as Salikatt Radix Ultra Fruited Sour, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 8.0%. Opaque yellow to orange colour, moderate off-white head, disappears after a while. Aroma of over-ripe pineapple and peaches, also passionfruit. Moderately sour flavour, notes of lactic acid, pineapple, peaches and passionfruit.

Aroma of lactic acid, yoghurt, lactose, raspberries and blackberries, a hint of vanilla. Soft mouthfeel. Moderately sour flavour with the same elements as the aroma, more distinct vanilla, a hint of bourbon. Refreshing.

330 ml bottle, batch #001, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy pale golden colour, some floaties. Shortlived white head. Very moderate aroma, but I had a cold, so my sense of smell might not be right. Sour flavour, notes of lactic acid and sour green gooseberries.

July 2021: 500 ml bottle, shared by my son. Beautiful signal red colour, moderate pink head. Cherries and vanilla is a combination which is easy to go wrong with, but Lindheim appears to have succeeded here - both aroma and flavour seems to be well balanced, not too sweet, not too sour, just pleasant to drink.

May 2020: 330 ml bottle, batch #31, from Det Gode Brygg, Kvadrat. ABV is 4.7%. Clear and very pale yellow colour, small white head. Aroma of dried apricots and apricot essence, a bit "artificial". The flavour has the same apricot notes on the base of a run-of-the-mill pilsener, too modest hops. Nothing here to write home about.

Very deep red colour, moderate to small pink head. Aroma of sweet and sour cherries, almonds and marzipan. Medium sour flavour with the same elements, oaky aftertaste.

Distinct aroma of sour cherries and almonds / marzipan, also notes of farmhouse kitchen. Sour flavour with sour cherries galore, brettanomyces and hints of lemons.

This is now a blend of Guinness Special Export and Timmermans Oude Kriek only, Guinness West Indies Porter is no longer part of the blend. Mahogany colour, huge and creamy beige head. Distinct aroma of sour cherries, cherry kernels and marzipan, discrete notes of chocolate and roast malts. The fairly sweet and slightly sour flavour has the same elements, the roast malts are astonishingly subdued. A fun experiment, but I prefer the Guinness Special Export on its own.
