Shared bottle at local tasting. Deep golden to orange colour, white head. The aroma has notes of acetone, alcohol, hops and cherry pits. Fruity flavour, notes of sour plums and cherries. The aroma ruins too much.

440 ml can, Cardinal Pub, Stavanger. ABV is 8%. Moderately hazy pink to peachy colour, some floaties, large off-white (pink-ish) head. Aroma of strawberries more than yuzu, also lactic acid and lactose. Sour flavour, too much lactic acid and strawberries, too little yuzu - but maybe that's just me.

330 ml can, Cardinal Pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Opaque pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of mango (no surprise there), hints of papaya and lactose. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of mango and citrus, moderate lactose, a low but noticeable bitterness in the finish. Not too sweet, refreshing beer.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Cloudy pink to red colour. Aroma and flavour of mango, raspberries and cherries - no surprise there. Drinkable, but more of a blended fruit nectar than a beer.

330 ml bottle, at the brewpub. ABV is 5.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of apricots and lactic acid. The flavour has the same elements, but is fortunately not quite as sour as I feared. Fairly well balanced, nice and refreshing.

440 ml can, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, huge white head - overcarbonated. Distinct aroma of mango and passionfruit, some wheaty, yeasty and piney notes too. Citric and fizzy mouthfeel. Wheaty, yeasty and fruity flavour - not very sweet, but too yeasty. Less distinct mango and passionfruit than expected. Hints of pine needles and juniper twigs. Won't buy again.

330 ml can, batch #232, as Lilland / Jåttå Flørli Sea To Summit Sour, Fjord Icon Series 2022. Brewed for Lilland Bryggerihotell at Jåttå Gårdsbryggeri. Purchased at Lilland off-licence. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy ancient pink to red colour, moderate off-white to pink head. Distinct aroma of over-ripe raspberries. Moderately sour flavour of raspberries, redcurrants and lactic acid. Hardly any bitterness.

Keg halfpint at The Dog & Bell, Deptford. ABV is 4.5%. Hazy yellow colour, no head. Aroma and flavour of lactic acid, sour plums and yuzu fruit. Not bad, but not a beer I'll buy aga

500 ml can, from Rema 1000, Tau. ABV is 4.7%. Hazy brownish-orange colour, moderate white head. The aroma should carry notes of sea buckthorn, cloudberries and raspberries, but feels messy and artificial. The flavour is fortunately not too sweet, the fruity notes still feels kind of artificial, but not as extreme as the aroma. A slight hop bitterness in the finish. Not a beer I'll buy again though.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Very cloudy / opaque orange colour, large to moderate off-white head with an orangey hue. Intense aroma of tangerine, and nothing else. Sweet flavour of tangerine juice, and tangerine zest. Nothing here to remind you that this is a beer.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy ancient pink to red colour, small off-white head. Aroma of redcurrants, over-ripe raspberries and blackcurrants, also lactic acid. Fairly refreshing flavour of said berries, also tropical fruits, some lactic acid, a hint of salt.

April 2017: Shared bottle at local tasting, as Fruitlands Modern Times Sour Apricot Gose. ABV is 4.8%. Clear golden colour, white head. Moderate aroma, hints of sea water and apricots. Medium sour flavour, notes of apricots and lactic acid. Dusty finish.

355 ml can at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.0%. Clear orange colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of guava, tangerine and other undefined fruits, seems a bit "artificial" though. Sour flavour, same elements as the aroma, also lactic acid and lemons. Not my cup of tea. I expected something better from Oskar Blues.

375 ml corked & caged green bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.2%. Pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a shortlived white head. Nice aroma of "spicy" saison yeast, and white grape must or white wine of "spicy" grape varieties, notes of cellar and oak. Very dry and crisp flavour, notes of brut sparkling white wine, some yeasty notes, the bitterness is very moderate.

440 ml can, as Vocation Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Piña Colada Sour, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Moderately hazy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of citrus / tangerine, hints of coconut and pineapple. Medium sour flavour, with lactic acid and the same elements as the aroma, low bitterness.

330 ml clear bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 6.6%. Murky red colour, shortlived pink head. Aroma of lactic acid, fruityoghurt and blueberries. Sour flavour, lemons and lactic acid galore, also blueberries, just a hint of aquavit spices. Like most beers from this brewery, it is really too sour for me, but at least this one is not undrinkable.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 7.5%, IBU 10. Golden colour, vigorously sparkling, moderate white head does not stay long. Aroma of white grapes, yeast, mild spices, oak. The flavour is fruity, slightly sweet & sour, with distinct notes of grape juice, hints of white wine vinegar, mild spices, oak. Interesting beer, but won't be my daily indulgence.
