2676 | Baatbryggeriet Styrbord | Norway | English Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 7 Bottle, RBESG 2005 Grand Tasting (courtesy of the brewery). Clear golden colour. Tolerable hops aroma, hints of elderflowers. Also some strange hints of ammonium cleaning fluid in the background. Flavour is kind of lagerlike. I probably drank it too warm, though. Fairly dry mouthfeel. A drinkable beer, but no masterpiece this one. |

2677 | Fur Ale | Denmark | English Pale Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, bought in Hvide Sande, Denmark. Deep golden colour, decent head. Moderate aroma with some malts and fruity aromatic hops. Flavour has some decent hops and notes of toffee, bitter finish. This is an okay premium bitter in my book, but not really outstanding. Like all beers from Fur Bryghus, it is overpriced |

2678 | Fuller's Organic Honey Dew | United Kingdom | English Pale Ale | 3.5
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, moderate head, good lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of malts and honey, some flowery notes too. Flavour is honey sweet and mellow but not cloying, fairly well balanced with the Target hops. Nice enough. |

2679 | Springhead Goodrich Castle | United Kingdom | English Pale Ale | 4.0
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8 Cask conditioned at the Ipswich Beer Festival 2004. Brewed following a 17th Century recipe using rosemary. Rosemary and cloves (? - can't read my own handwriting) in the aroma and flavour, which otherwise have the characteristics of a good standard pale ale. Must be a great accompaniment with lambchops. |

2684 | Atna Engelsk Lys | Norway | English Pale Ale | 3.6
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal, Stavanger. Cloudy honey coloured, minimal head. Intense flowery / honey aroma, very nice. Moderate carbonation. Mellow and well rounded flavour, honey notes, moderate yeastiness. Pleasant beer, easy drinking, but a little more hops wouldn’t hurt. |

2687 | Holbæk Lillevang Pale Ale | Denmark | English Pale Ale | 3.1
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, thanks to Tom. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, big white head. Fairly strong aroma of Saazer hops, grassy and herbal notes. The flavour has a distinct bitterness from start to finish (Target hops?), but not much else, neither maltiness nor hop flavour other than the bitterness. Not my favourite pale ale this one. |

2689 | Kernel Table Beer 2.8% Pale Ale Nelson Sauvin, Citra | United Kingdom | English Pale Ale | 3.3
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 330 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 2.8%. Pale ale with hops Nelson Sauvin and Citra. Ingredients include sugar and oats. Hazy pale straw colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma of citric hops, hints of crushed white grapes. Light bodied as expected. Refreshing citric flavour, with a decent bitterness in the finish. Good beer for its low ABV. |

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 6 | Overall: 6 500 ml bottle, at Jenny Watts, Bangor. ABV 4.7%. Unfiltered and unpasteurised. Pale golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of pilsener malts, some citrus and dust. Citrussy and mildly spicy flavour, fairly dry. Okay, but not impressive. |

2693 | Theresianer Pale Ale | Italy | English Pale Ale | 1.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, large to moderate head. Aroma and flavour of unhopped pilsener wort, cooked vegetables and baby porridge. Remarkably bad and boring. The Norwegian importer has apparently decided to import the entire Theresianer range without tasting all the beers first. This one (and the Bock) is not something I would buy again. Ever. |

2696 | Thwaites IPA Indus Pale Ale | United Kingdom | English Pale Ale | 3.7
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 7 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 7 500 ml bottle, from Ica Kilden, Hillevåg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.6%. Clear deep golden colour, large white head. Moderate but okay aroma of (primarily British?) hops, some fruit, malts and toffee in the background, hints of dust. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, and "typically British" (= far from an American IPA), balanced by a moderate malty and toffee sweetness, with a citrussy and medium bitter finish. Quite enjoyable. |

2697 | Lindesnes Imsa Pale Ale | Norway | English Pale Ale | 2.7
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 5 | Flavor: 5 | Overall: 5 500 ml bottle, thanks to the ever generous beer enthusiast gunnar. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy brown colour, large off-white head. Smell of not-quite-fully-fermented homebrew, some fruity notes (green apples) and dusty malts, some woody notes too. The flavour is woody and medium dry, some fruity notes makes the beer drinkable. Bitter finish. Woody aftertaste. Could have been worse, but Lindesnes Brygghus has apparently a long way to go. |
