Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour has more distinct herbal hops than many other Belgian ales, and is not too sweet. Decent beer.

Strong aroma of tropical fruit juice (including mango and passion fruit) and fruity and piney hops. Hoppy and very bitter flavour, but also a considerable sweetness of tropical fruit juice.

The same spicy notes in the flavour, also sufficient malts, hints of yellow plums, not too sweet, bitter finish. Refreshing for its strength.

Oct. 2016: 330 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Large beige head. Aroma of moderately roasted malts, hints of caramel, chocolate and mild coffee. The flavour is slightly on the sweet side, smooth and well balanced. Notes of moderately roasted malts, caramel malts, coffee and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice, moderate hops. A very promising beer from Svalbard.
