7303 | Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc Sans Alcool | France | Reduced Alcohol | 1.2
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 September 2018: 330 ml blue bottle, from Helgø Meny Maxi, Sandnes. ABV is 0.5%. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. The aroma has notes of lightstruck hops, wheat, baby porridge and citrus, a hint of vomit. Citric and thin mouthfeel. The flavour has some sweetness, with distinct and unpleasant notes of baby porridge and overcooked vegetables. |

7304 | Bud Light | United States | Light / Lite Lager | 1.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 473 ml can, now unfortunately available in Norway. ABV here is 4.1%. Golden colour, fizzy, moderate head. Surprisingly strong aroma of artifical candy. Fizzy mouthfeel, a little sweetness, no real flavour at all, hardly any traceable hops, no aftertaste. Crap. |

7306 | Marmara Gold | Turkey | Pale Lager | 1.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 1 litre green bottle, ABV (or was that ABW?) was 4.1%. Shared with my beerpal Olav who bought it in Turkey, thx! Pale golden colour, moderate white head. First a pleasant Heineken-like 'skunky' whiff when opening the the bottle, then a very unpleasant and bland aroma with notes of boiled vegetables and wet cardboard. Bland flavour with notes of rubber, glue and wet cardboard. Really, really dreadful. |

7307 | Suttungs Mjød | Norway | Mead | 1.2
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 500 ml bottle, at Vinmonopolet. The only commercially available Norwegian mead. Clear, nearly colourless like water, just a streak of greenish yellow. No head or carbonation. Weird strong aroma, with some good will I might say "interesting" - honey of course, lots of undefined herbs and spices, but also strong fruity (green apples) and grassy notes. Some unpleasant hints of vomit and cleaning agent. Very sweet with some honey notes, but tastes more like a sweet and really bad white wine with herbal off-flavours. Ugh. I guess meads are not my thing, and definitely not this one. |

7308 | Fjelløl Alkoholfri | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, bought at LIDL Norway. Looks like a pale lager, gets a point for a tolerable head. Otherwise this is another offensive n/a beer, sweetish aroma and flavour with notes of grit, the usual n/a "boiled" notes are there. As with all(?) n/a beers: Avoid! |

7309 | Ringnes Akairyu | Norway | Light / Lite Lager | 1.2
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 440 ml can. A new pale lager from Ringnes (again developed by the marketing department, rather than by a brewer with any self esteem). Allegedly inspired by Asian / Japanese dry lagers. Very pale clear golden colour, large head that soon subsides. Weak sweetish aroma with a faint hint of hops. Bland, watery and extremely boring flavour. A glass of sparkling water would be better. But then, sparkling water has no alcohol ... If you LIKE beer, avoid! |

7310 | Munkholm Alkoholfritt Juleøl | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 (330 ml bottle). Ringnes' attempt at making a non-alcoholic Christmas/Yule beer. The result is as poor as Santa Clausthaler. Looks pretty good though - reddish colour, thick lasting head. Aroma has some malts on a sickly background of over-boiled vegetables. Flavour is blah! again: over-boiled vegetables and sickly sweet porridge with some caramel. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Aftertaste leaves a real nasty medicinal and metallic bitterness. Another truly miserable n/a beer! |

7311 | Aass Uten | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.2
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 (Bottle). "Uten" is Norwegian for "without" - this is a beer without alcohol. Looks OK, golden colour, good thick head. Malty sweet aroma that becomes sickly as the beer warms up. Tastes as if it's made from a little malts, a little hops and lots of contaminated water from an industrial waste dump. Avoid! |

7312 | Tuborg Lite 4,5 | Norway | Light / Lite Lager | 1.2
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 500 ml can, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Very pale golden colour, fluffy head of moderate retention. "Artificial" sweet aroma, unpleasant. Incredibly boring flavour with "plenty of nothing". Even the new "Ringnes Lite" is slightly better than this. This is a low carb beer to forget! |

7314 | Gaymers Olde English Cyder | United Kingdom | Cider | 1.2
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 500 ml can. Bought by mistake in a London store when I was in a hurry just before closing time - thought it was an unrated beer! Fizzy sourish stuff. Watery mouthfeel. Gave me a heartburn - and I didn’t even finish the can! Industrial ciders like this one seem utterly pointless to me. Avoid! |

7315 | Miller Genuine Draft | United States | Pale Lager | 1.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 Seriously struck by beer rating addiction, I bought this beer only to rate it - and I hate myself for it! Hate hate hate!! I paid good money for this crap, in the US at least it’s cheap - here it’s expensive. Importing this shit to Europe is totally ridiculous! And the alternative in Norway, if you want an American beer, is mostly Bud!! (If you’re ’lucky’, you might find Michelob! *and a couple others at "Vinmonopolet".) My expectations were very low, but I soon found out that this ’beer’ was even worse than I expected. Aroma reminiscent of the wine yeast of my disastrous, short lived wine-making career 15 years ago. Excessive head that disappears rather quickly. Hardly any flavour at all - just a bland, metallic mouthfeel. Luckily, there is no aftertaste either (if there was, it would surely have been bad). ’Genuine draught’ my ass! This is just bad, real BAD!! |

7316 | Kopparbergs Special Brew X-Strong 7.5% | Sweden | Strong Lager | 1.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 (500 ml can). Golden colour, moderate head. Sickly sweetish chemical aroma, flavour dominated by a revolting alcoholic sweetness. Not good. Rerate: I started writing before I had finished the beer. As it turned out, I was unable to finish the glass. That very rarely happens to me. Congratulations, Kopparbergs! |

7317 | Santa Clausthaler | Germany | Reduced Alcohol | 1.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 A non-alcoholic Christmas beer! Sounds like a joke - tastes like a joke too. Brownish golden colour, just a little darker than the ordinary Clausthaler. Malty aroma that gets sickly as the beer warms up. Sickly flavour, foul aftertaste. Avoid! |

7318 | Baladin Sud | Italy | Witbier | 1.1
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml can, as Birra Baladin Sud, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV 4.5%. Slightly hazy and very pale golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of wheat and very stale jam / marmalade, not good. The flavour is on the sweet side, again unfresh notes of stale jam and citrus, drainpour. Baladin should be ashamed of this one. |

7319 | Klokk FRIPA Radler Julebrus | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.1
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 Shared 330 ml can at Christmas Eve, we all hated this one. A terrible Radler with n/a beer and Norwegian "julebrus" (Christmas soda) - aroma and flavour of bubblegum, chemical waste and vomit. Message to Klokk: It is allowed to make experiments, but when the experiment is not successful, it is also allowed to pour the entire batch down the drain. You just can't sell crap like this. |

7320 | Grolsch Non Alcoholic (Premium Malt) | Netherlands | Reduced Alcohol | 1.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml green bottle, as "Grolsch Non Alcoholic", courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Golden colour, moderate head. Unmistaken sickly n/a beer aroma with "boiled" notes (= vegetables that have been boiled far too long) and grit. "Unfresh" and sickly flavour, notes of grit. Fizzy mouthfeel. Bad. |

7321 | Łomża 0.0% | Poland | Reduced Alcohol | 1.1
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 500 ml green bottle, from EKO Market, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, small white head. Strong aroma of grits, wort, baby porridge and over-boiled vegetables. The flavour is first slightly citric, then gritty and grainy, low bitterness. Won't buy again. |

7325 | Trio Lettøl | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.1
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml bottle, bought at LIDL Norway. Pale golden colour, low head. Sweetish aroma, grainy with some strange and very unpleasant sidenotes of undefinable industrial waste. Flavour is grainy with unpleasant "industrial" sidenotes, and the "boiled" house character (you know, vegetables etc. that have been boiled too long) that seems to be the trademark of Trio Bryggeri. In a blind taste I’d probably have guessed that this was a completely n/a beer. This is one to avoid! |
