7251 | Charma Lager | Greece | Kellerbier | 1.5
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml unlabelled bottle, kindly shared by gunnar. Golden colour, moderate to low white head. Strong sweetish aroma, notes of flowers and artificial banana candy. The flavour is not quite as sweet as the aroma made me fear, but has still notes of banana candy. Minimal hops. Weird, but not undrinkable. |

7252 | Labatt Ice | Canada | Strong Lager | 1.5
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 According to the back label, this beer should be 'consumed ice cold from the bottle'. Sure, best way to hide the foul flavour - as far as there is any flavour at all. Well, I suppose this one has marginally more hops than the lousiest beers of this lousy style - but that should not detract from the basic fact: This is CRAP! Jesus - I must stop buying these shitty and (in Norway) over-priced beers! You know I buy them just to get another rating! |

7253 | Tuborg T-Beer | Denmark | Light / Lite Lager | 1.5
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 4.9%. Very pale colour, decent head and lacing. Weak citrussy aroma. Flavour? Nearly flavourless, carbonated water with just a faint hint of crystal malts and citrus. Gets an extra point for not being quite as offensive as some other raters made me expect. The hints of dishwashing liquid in the finish are, after all, not overwhelming .... |

7254 | Pigeonnelle Pigeonoël | France | Belgian Strong Ale | 1.5
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 July 2016: 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Cloudy brown colour, moderate to low off-white head. Unpleasant aroma of stomach acid / vomit and spices. Fizzy mouthfeel, overcarbonated. The flavour is medium malty and slightly spicy, but the aroma ruins it all. Drainpour. Won’t buy again. |

7255 | Hansa Fersken | Norway | Fruit Beer | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 3 500 ml can, from Coop Prestemarka, Tau. ABV is 4.7%. Moderately hazy greyish-brownish-golden colour, moderate to small white head. Aroma of artificial "peach" essence and "peach" candy. Citric mouthfeel. The unpleasant flavour has a little citrus, but first and foremost loads of artificial "peach" essence. Low bitterness. At least the beer is not too sweet, but this is not something I'll buy again. Ever. |

7256 | Żywiec 0.0% | Poland | Reduced Alcohol | 1.4
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 500 ml can, from EKO Market, Stavanger. Clear golden colour, large white head. Not very nice aroma of grain and malts, hints of sweat and broth. The flavour is fairly sweet with lots of strange off-flavours. The worst Polish n/a beer I've had so far. |

Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 500 ml bottle, at Gladmatfestivalen 2008, Stavanger. ABV was 2.5%. Brewed with quinoa (Chenopodium). Very cloudy pale brown colour, low head. Looks like unfiltered apple juice. Minimal aroma, some yeast and hints of quinoa. Bland and sweetish flavour of quinoa, rather unpleasant. Quinoa is OK in soft drinks, but not in beer - at least not in this one. Couldn't finish the bottle. Drainpour. |

7260 | Beck's Gold | Germany | Pale Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, bought in Germany. Every big German brewery seems to be squandering their reputation these days by making a "Gold" beer - pale tasteless lagers with normal ABV, for people who really don’t like beer, but want the buzz. You think "normal" Becks has too much taste(!)? This one’s for you! Pale golden colour, low head, fizzy. Weak aroma with faint notes of grass. Flavour is boring as hell, but there are at least some hints of dry and dusty hops, so the beer is not COMPLETELY tasteless ... |

7263 | Hansa Ultra Lavkarbo | Norway | Light / Lite Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml can. Another beer for the "low carb" craze people. Pale golden colour, head disappears rapidly. Moderate carbonation. Very weak aroma. I was thirsty when I drank it, it was refreshing - but so would a glass of mineral water have been. The lack of flavour is made more tolerable by the fact that there are no offensive side-flavours either. People who actually LIKE beer should avoid these low carb beers like the plague. |

7264 | Mongozo Banana | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 1.4
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml bottle, now available in Norway (ULTRA stores a.o.). ABV here is 4.5%. Hazy golden colour, moderate creamy head. INTENSE aroma of "banana split" toffees, pleasant at first whiff, then VERY unpleasant sidenotes of vomit and chemical waste take over. Sickly sweet artificial (allegedly NATURAL, "fair trade" even - good grief!) over-ripe / rottening banana flavouring. A truly disgusting beer! It was expensive, so I forced myself to finish the glass. Urk! Blah! etc. Been there, done that. Never, never again! |

7265 | Chakra Premium Lager Beer | Norway | Pale Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. This "Indian" beer is a gimmick brew of Trio Bryggeri (50% Mack owned), Skien, Norway. The beer is brewed with "the purest Norwegian water", but claims to be a "Product of India - Chakra Brewery". There is no evidence on the internet to suggest that the "Chakra Brewery" actually exists. And even if it did exist, it would hardly brew with "Norwegian water", would it? The beer is extremely pale yellow coloured, with a low head that disappears rapidly. The "skunky" / fruity / lemony whiff in the aroma is actually the best thing about this beer. Flavour is very bland and dull with just a hint of lemons, hardly any bitterness. Fizzy mouthfeel. Ice cold it may serve as a thirstquencher, or to wash down a hot curry, but for people looking for tasty beers, this is one to pass. |

7266 | Eik & Tid Hav & Bær | Norway | Wild Ale | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 2 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.2%. Hazy pink to purple colour, moderate off-white pinkish head that's there and gone in seconds. Aroma of lactic acid and over-ripe red berries, esp. raspberries, hints of stale saltwater ponds. The flavour is way too sour, lactic acid galore, over-ripe and unfresh raspberries, some salt. Nearly undrinkable, drainpour for me. |

7267 | Theodor Schiøtz Anarkist Mighty Mild Ale | Denmark | Reduced Alcohol | 1.4
Aroma: 2 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 2 440 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 0.5%, IBU 30. Hazy orange to brown colour, large and coarse off-white head, poor retention. Aroma of malts, bread and wort. The flavour has first a little fruit, but mostly grain, bread and wort, quite dry. Low bitterness. Well, they have tried, but this is not a beer I'll buy again. |

7268 | Brahma (Holland) | Netherlands | Pale Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 330 ml clear bottle, as Brahma Cerveja do Brasil, Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, Premium Lager. Brewed and distributed by InBev UK Ltd., Luton LU1 3LS. ABV is 4.3%. Bought at Carrefour, Cartagena, Spain. Golden colour, moderate white head. Weak grassy and sweetish "industrial" aroma. Thin mouthfeel. Utterly bland and boring flavour, nothing pleasant about it at all. The little flavour there is, is metallic, dusty, cardboardy and "industrial". Stomach-turning and revolting. Drainpour. |

7271 | Schloss Eggenberg Samichlaus Bier | Austria | Doppelbock | 1.4
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 2 | Overall: 2 (Bottled 2003). Deep golden/amber colour, moderate head. Aroma of sugary alcohol and hay. Grossly over-hyped and over-rated beer, mostly by people obviously fascinated by the high ABV. Sorry, I have difficulties respecting the ratings of people who actually LIKE this crap. Flavour is cloyingly & revoltingly sweet, alcohol, molasses, syrup, syrup and more syrup. And alcohol. Did I mention syrup? And alcohol? This is gross. This is REALLY gross. Half of it went down the drain. And I paid nearly US$10 (in Norway) for this bottle! (Sob!) Cellaring it for 30 years might have helped A LITTLE, but why cellar crap? A real drainpour, if I ever saw one. Thank God I drank it in November - "Samichlaus" would have ruined my Christmas completely. |

7272 | Carlsberg Ice | Denmark | Pale Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 Bottle, at the Carlsberg Brewery in Copenhagen. Like all pale "ice" swill lagers: They are brewed to be very drinkable for people who really don't like beer at all. Carlsberg Ice is not even the "best" of the lot. For all people who actually LIKE beer: Avoid the "ice" swill style by all means, and Carlsberg Ice in particular. |

7273 | Almaza Pilsener | Lebanon | Light / Lite Lager | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 280 ml green bottle, a gift from a fellow beer rater, to add another "beer country" to my list. ABV was 4.1%. Don’t expect me to search all over Lebanon for their "great" beers in the future, though. The whiff of fresh skunkiness when opening the bottle is actually the best thing with this beer. Pale golden colour, fizzy, low head that disappears rapidly, little lacing. In the glass the aroma is sickly, soap and rotting vegetables. The flavour (as far as there is any) is grainy and utterly forgettable. Soapy aftertaste. This beer might save your life if you happen to be stuck in the Lebanon heat, anywhere else it’s just a bad joke. |

7274 | Dorada Sin (Canarias) | Spain | Reduced Alcohol | 1.4
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, at Tenerife. Pale yellow colour with big bubbles, and a moderate and short-lived coarse head. The usual n/a beer aroma of unhopped wort, grain, maize and over-cooked vegetables. The flavour has some malts and is fairly sweet, a hint of hops in the finish. Not good, but not the worst n/a beer I’ve had. |
