6801 | Leffe Ruby | Belgium | Fruit Beer | 1.9
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 750 ml bottle, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.0%. Clear pink to red colour, huge off-white head. Aroma of artificial "red fruits" candy. Sweet flavour, artificial "red fruits" galore, some malts and hops in the background. Waste of money. |

Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. Hazy pale golden colour, moderate white head. 6804 | Fuglsang Pilsner | Denmark | Bohemian / Czech Pilsener | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from a border shop near Flensburg (where I nearly ruined their system by buying a single bottle, they normally sell it only in whole crates). ABV is 4.8%. Pale yellow colour, pours very fizzy with a large to moderate white head. Strong sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, candy and grass. The flavour is bland and medium sweet, notes of malt sugar, not offensive, but has far too little bitterness to deserve to be called a "pilsener". Could have been worse though. |

6805 | Guinness Rye Pale Ale | Ireland | Rye Beer | 1.9
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 500 ml bottle, from Tesco Express, Belfast. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Meaty aroma, notes of broth - weird. Bland and boring dry flavour - weak malts, and no sign of the Mosaic and Cascade hops. What a sick joke! |

6806 | Nøgne Ø Stripped Craft | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.9
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Bris Ølutsalg, Jørpeland. 15 IBU. Very pale yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of DMS and lime. Very thin mouthfeel, but refreshing, mainly due to the notes of lime. Some less pleasant DMS and grainy notes in the background. |

6807 | Eik & Tid / Grünerløkka Brygghus Sabotasje 5 | Norway | Wild Ale | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Hazy yellow colour, small and shortlived white head. Aroma of lactic acid and lemons, a hint of smoke. Extremely sour flavour, nearly undrinkable, lactic acid and lemons galore, also some misplaced notes of smoke. Won't buy again. |

6808 | Eik & Tid Barbar | Norway | Wild Ale | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, batch f101p6, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.6%. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of lactic acid, lemons, rhubarb and sea water. The flavour is ridiculously sour, lactic acid galore, nearly undrinkable, extremely sour lemons, difficult to point out the rhubarb, it is all just a sour mess. And there is way too much salt in this mess. Won't buy again, that's for sure. |

6809 | Corona Cero | Mexico | Reduced Alcohol | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 3 330 ml clear bottle, from Coop Extra Sauda. Clear and pale golden colour, moderate to low white head. Sweetish aroma of maize, malts and newmown grass. Tastes like sparkling water with a little maize, malts and sugar added, a hint of citrus. Minimal hops. Gets a couple points for not tasting awful. An alternative to water when you have to drive. |

6812 | Darguner Pilsener | Germany | Pale Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 500 ml bottle, bought in a NETTO store, Denmark. Very pale golden colour, large head. This is a reinheitsgebot beer, but the aroma still has strong elements of maize/corn-like sweetness, notes of boiled vegetables, honey and a flower bouquet on its way to the dustbin. Flavour is dominated by over-cooked vegetables and corn, far too sweet for a pilsener, lacks completely the freshness and crispness a good pils should have. A harsh bitterness in the finish does not help much. Disappointing, but I guess that’s what you should expect when crap brewers Harboe own the brewery. |

6813 | Tuborg Juleøl 4.5% | Denmark | Vienna / Amber Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 330 ml bottle. Oh my god, a special version of Tuborg Juleøl for the Norwegian grocery store market, with a meagre ABV of 4.5%. Obviously designed as a discount brand on this market, Norwegian brewed Tuborg Pils has an equivalent role here too. Amber colour, low head, little lacing. Minimal aroma, hints of caramel. Flavour is unbelievably bland and uninteresting, a little caramel and a minimal amount of cheap hop extract. Avoid! |

6814 | Grans Bare Fotball | Norway | Pale Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 3 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 4 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 500 ml can. Golden colour, low head. You don’t expect much from a Grans beer, and you don’t get much either. Weak sweetish fruity aroma (at least it’s not offensive). Moderate carbonation. Flavour has some pale malts, very moderate hops, a hint of toffee and wet cardboard, and a dusty finish. A boring beer, but I’ve had worse. |

6815 | Aass Fatøl Light | Norway | Light / Lite Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 4 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 4 | Overall: 4 Norwegian "light" beer always means low alcohol (<2,5% ABV). This is another "draught" (actually bottled) beer which means that it's marginally darker than an ordinary pils or light beer. It is, after all, not the worst example of this lousy style. Still, avoid it if you don't have to drive! |

6817 | Aass Jule-Uten | Norway | Reduced Alcohol | 1.9
Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 2 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml brown bottle. The beer looks impressive - amber colour, with a huge and creamy long lasting head. Sickly sweet aroma of over-boiled vegetables and unfermented wort, typical n/a beer. The flavour is actually better than many other n/a beers (like the Munkholm range) - there is a certain maltiness with some caramel, and tolerable hops in the finish. If you MUST have a n/a beer, this one is at least (nearly) drinkable, if you can stand the smell. |

6818 | Carlsberg Light | Denmark | Reduced Alcohol | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 Typical "light" (which in Denmark and Norway previously always meant "low alcohol") beer. Little more to add. A 2.5% version was made for Norway. Golden colour, moderate head. A very watered down pale lager, but with some malt and very moderate hops in aroma and flavour, not totally undrinkable when you have to drive afterwards. |

6819 | Palma Louca Pale Pils | Brazil | Pale Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 4 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 355 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark, simply named Palma Louca. I felt compelled to sample this beer - Brazil is such a big country, and I was kind of shameful for not having sampled any of their beers previously ... ABV is 4.5%. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Sweetish, sugary and grainy aroma, hints of maize - but not awful. Bland and "dusty" flavour, fairly dry and thus kind of refreshing when ice cold, but the bitterness is very low, and there are hardly any flavour elements worth mentioning. Utterly forgettable. For the sake of Brazilian beer entusiasts, if they exist: I do hope you have access to better beers than this! |

6820 | Nova Paka Hemp Brou Czech | Czech Republic | Pale Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 5 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, as Hemp Bräu Czech, from Vyrobce Pivovar Nova Paka, shared by gunnar. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of nettles and citrus, hints of catpiss. Flavour of hemp and wood, nettles and citrus. Sharp bitter finish. Not good. |

6821 | Theresianer Pale Ale | Italy | English Pale Ale | 1.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet Vika. ABV is 6.5%. Golden colour, large to moderate head. Aroma and flavour of unhopped pilsener wort, cooked vegetables and baby porridge. Remarkably bad and boring. The Norwegian importer has apparently decided to import the entire Theresianer range without tasting all the beers first. This one (and the Bock) is not something I would buy again. Ever. |

Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 4 Bottle, at local tasting, as Goldstar Dark Lager Beer, kindly shared by our beerpal Olav. ABV is 4.9%. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. "Industrial" moderate lager aroma and flavour, sweetish, with hints of wet cardboard. |

6824 | Singha Light | Thailand | Light / Lite Lager | 1.9
Aroma: 6 | Appearance: 5 | Mouthfeel: 2 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 330 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.5%. Pale golden colour, large white head. Fairly strong grassy and grainy aroma. Mouthfeel like carbonated water. The flavour is utterly bland and boring (nearly flavourless), but there are no offensive off-flavours, and there is a faint hint of hops in the aftertaste, so I can’t say that the beer is totally undrinkable. Not something I’d ever pay good money for again, though. |

6825 | Närke Kulturbryggeri Bäver | Sweden | Spiced Beer | 1.9
Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 3 | Mouthfeel: 3 | Flavor: 3 | Overall: 3 On tap from a urinal(!) at HaandBryggeriet Beer Festival, Drammen. Sweet Jesus - who is crazy enough to use the secretion from beaver anal glands (castoreum) in BEER??!! Apparently, the guys at Närke are! The beer has an amber colour, moderate off-white head. Weird and penetrating aroma of beaver (insert jokes here at your own will), reminds me of smelly oils and undefined chemical waste. Hints of leather too. Dry flavour with a rather disgusting dominance of castoreum. Some hops in the finish. Nope, this is not a beer for me. |
